May 12, 2011 @ 8:25 am PST    South Park     Andy Neuenschwander
South Park is seriously out of control. In a good way, of course. Last night's episode saw the Canadian Royal Princess kidnapped during the Canadian Royal Wedding, a tragedy that apparently has no equal as far as the Canadians are concerned. That leads Ike to join the Canadian military (who is armed mostly with hockey sticks, natch) to get her back. That's a problem for Mr.

May 12, 2011 @ 5:00 am PST    Jersey Shore     Andy Neuenschwander
"The Situation" is dealing with a whole new kind of situation, as his estranged father has been attacking him publicly through online videos. TMZ first released the videos, which feature Mike Sorrentino's father going off on angry tirades against his now-famous son, accusing the "Jersey Shore" star of leaving him to go on welfare. It gets worse: Sorrentino's dad released another video claiming that Sitch got fired from some of his previous jobs because of sexual misconduct.

Ratings for 'The Voice' Drop in First Battle Round: is it Still a Show Without the Chairs?
May 12, 2011 @ 3:00 am PST    The Voice, American Idol     Andy Neuenschwander
Last night's episode of "The Voice" saw it move to a different time slot as the blind auditions wrapped up and the Battle Round started. It's only been three episodes, but already it felt like something was missing. My attention was waning, and I could just imagine people changing the channel. Sure enough, the ratings from last night report that while "The Voice" drew in 10.5 million viewers and a 4.7 rating in the demo, that's almost a 20% decrease from last week.
