The long awaited film adaptation of "Twilight" author Stephenie Meyer's novel "The Host" has a lead star.
Oscar-nominated actress Saoirse Ronan, who most recently starred in the thriller "Hanna," will take her place at the helm as Melanie Stryder.

All right, we got a situation right here: Mike Sorrentino, a.k.a. "The Situation," is the latest "Jersey Shore" star to land a development deal with MTV.
What does that mean? We'll probably be seeing a Situation spin-off sometime after the fourth season of "Jersey Shore" airs. The upcoming fourth season, set in Italy, is thought to be the last one featuring the current cast.

Monday night marked doomsday for Conan's beard as Ferrell showed up on "Conan" to shave it off. Ferrell being Ferrell, of course, it was made into a hilarious, drawn-out affair, complete with a barber's chair and even a set of combs sitting in "the blue stuff" (which Ferrell took a healthy swig of). Watch the hilarious video here.

We have heard it over and over in recent years: America is more divided, more bi-partisan than it has been in decades. Well, just in time for this era of civil division comes the Civil War Era-based series "Hell on Wheels."
The series is the newest drama from AMC, who keeps striking gold with series like "Mad Men," "Breaking Bad," "The Walking Dead" and "The Killing.

What do you get when you mix "The Biggest Loser" with "The Bachelor"? I'm not quite sure, but it might look something like "Love Handles," the newest reality show from "Jersey Shore" producer SallyAnn Salsano.
The show was sold by Salsano to the Lifetime network in a speedy deal. The whole thing went so quickly, in fact, that Salsano says she "almost didn't believe" it was really going to happen.

Hats off to Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, for knowing how to be a real wedding crasher.
Although she wasn't invited to attend the Royal Wedding, Fergie may have helped in some show stealing for her daughters Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie.
The Princesses could not be ignored thanks to their extremely wild hats.
A close friend of Fergies told NaughtyNice that she was certain Sarah helped with the outfit picks.

It's a sad day for health enthusiasts, and a great day for the Los Angeles school district: "Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution" has been pulled by ABC.
The show, which focuses on British chef Jamie Oliver as he attempts to educate families and schools about proper eating habits and better nutrition, has suffered low ratings in its second season. So, ABC pulled the show from the schedule today and announced that it will be replaced with a "Dancing With the Stars" recap show on Tuesday nights.
