There's no love lost of Casey's elimination apparently. No dramatic intro, no recap of beardface's exit...just Steven Tyler mocking Ryan Seacrest. Wait...was that Anthony Hopkins in the audience? I swear I just saw Anthony Hopkins. The assignment for the week is for the Idols to sing two songs: a current one and one from the 1960's. So basically, half of the songs will be terrible and the other half will be great.

Enter Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman. The duo directed the documentary (or was it?) "Catfish," which became a surprising hit when it came out last year.

"South Park" apparently had beef about Comedy Central's first annual Comedy Awards, as the ceremony was lampooned last night at the beginning of the episode. "An award show just about comedy seems like a really bad idea," says Stan. Plus, since it's being put on by the special ed department, it's mandatory (interpret that as you will).

"Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides," the fourth movie in the franchise, hasn't hit theaters yet. But the studio isn't stopping to rest: Disney already wants to make a fifth 'Pirates" movie, and screenwriter Terry Rossio has already turned in a script for it, Jerry Bruckheimer is already signed on to produce again, and rumor has it that director Rob Marshall is in talks to return as well. So, that means it's a go, right? Not quite. Y'all forgot about Johnny Depp.

The Tony Awards nominations have been announced ("The Book of Mormon," the musical from the creators of "South Park," leads the pack with 14 noms), but today the question still remained: who will host the Tonys? Answer: Neil Patrick Harris. It was reported this morning by Deadline that NPH, star of "How I Met Your Mother" and award-winning guest star on "Glee," is set to be the host of this year's Tony Awards.

The "S" on his chest definitely doesn't stand for single! "Man of Steel" star Henry Cavill reportedly proposed to girlfriend Ellen Whitaker recently while on vacation in California. The bride-to-be, who is currently training for the 2012 Olympics with the British show jumping team (!), was taken by surprise by Cavill. She told the Belfast Telegraph of the proposal, "I couldn't believe it when he asked me to marry him."

Variety reports that Warner Bros. Home Entertainment now owns two of media consumers' most trusted critical filters. The Hollywood trade publication announced Wednesday that the entertainment Goliath has purchased encyclopedic movie-lover community Flixster and Flixster's prolific critical off-shoot Rotten Tomatoes for approximately $60 million.
