Uncle Ben's Original 'Spider-Man' Killer to Return For 'The Amazing Spider-Man'?
June 02, 2011 @ 4:00 pm PST    The Amazing Spider-Man, Spider-Man     Sean Comer
Well, of all the original "Spider-Man" cast members to be sought for a cameo in 2012's "The Amazing Spider-Man," this wasn't one I expected. Character actor Michael Papajohn played a brief but pivotal role in the first of Sony's three "Spider-Man" movies: he played Uncle Ben's original killer, a petty thief setting in motion the tragic events that drive Peter Parker to become Spider-Man.

Eliza Dushku has two very important talents - never aging, and constantly attaching herself to nerdy properties. And while starring in a "motion comic" based on the popular geek series "Torchwood" may not seem like a great career move, it's exactly this kind of attitude that has kept Dushku kind of relevant for nearly her whole career.

If anyone was wondering how Rihanna really feels about the physical assault that she suffered from ex-boyfriend Chris Brown, your answer comes in the form of Rihanna's latest music video, "Man Down." The video opens with the 23-year-old singer shooting a man in the middle of a train station, then flashes back to the previous day. We then see her meet the man she shot and flirt with him in a club, after which she walks home alone and is violently assaulted by the man.

There's not turning back now. Shooting is under way this week in Atlanta for "American Reunion," the first flick in the "American Pie" franchise since the original to feature the entire original main cast, and Alyson Hannigan is already dishing about the story . . . including what's in store for our favorite ginger-headed band geek, Michelle.

June 02, 2011 @ 10:00 am PST    Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides     Sean Comer
Another day passes, and further proof arises that critics mean essentially nothing in Hollywood. "Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" has been getting drubbed by critics, to the tune of a 33% fresh rating on Rottentomatoes.com. That could be called "bad news," except that the movie grossed $690 million in its first 12 days of release. That already has Disney putting the franchise on a drive for five, CinemaBlend reports.
