Those who went into "Thor" smartened up by two "Iron Man" movies and "The Incredible Hulk" had an inkling to patiently wait out the credits for what has become a traditional cliffhanger coda.
Oh, and this was a biggie.
Thor's nefarious brother Loki appeared in the scene to establish that sometime in the very near future, he'll be meddling in the Earth Realm to take control over an omnipotent artifact called the Cosmic Cube.

I propose a perplexing proposition, film freaks: how deep into the dregs of "Development Hell" must the doomed descend before being deemed "deceased?"
The word coming down from Deadline today is that director Albert Hughes has parted ways with Warner Bros.' live-action adaptation of the classic Japanese manga and anime "Akira" over creative differences.

The blog Faded Youth has leaked some early photos showing Will Smith and Josh Brolin on-set donning the famous dark duds. In this installment, which once more will feature Will Smith as Agent J and Tommy Lee Jones as Agent K, but also Brolin as a younger K, evil aliens use time travel to journey back and assassinate a younger K, alter MIB history and end the world.

It's fairly safe to say that "Star Wars" fans have been waiting since, oh, let's say 1978 for a "Star Wars" live-action TV show to come along. But we all assumed that it would never happen, mostly because George Lucas was too busy making crappy prequels to write the thing.
Well, in an interview with G4's "Attack of the Show" this week, Lucas revealed that he actually has 50 hours of a live-action "Star Wars" TV show already written, just waiting to be produced.

Poor Lindsay Lohan. Her jewelry theft case has landed her in an awful, awful place...a swanky home in Malibu, with a beautiful pool and view of the ocean. Damn the U.S. justice system and their overly harsh methods of punishment for celebrities!
Anyway, while Lindsay has been chilling at her mansion, a filmmaker by the name of Richard Phillips managed to visit and shoot a short art film with her.

It's with sadness that Yidio must report that funnyman actor Jeff Conaway died May 27. He was 60 years old.
Conaway had been in a medically induced coma in Encino, Calif. following an alleged drug overdose, Variety reported. His family made the decision Friday to shut off his life support and say goodbye.

Muscle-bound actor Michael Clarke Duncan was on "Attack of the Show" this week to promote "Green Lantern", and he brought the first piece of completed footage with him.
