As we reported last week, "Star Wars" creator (and more often than not it seems, destroyer) George Lucas sat down for a chat with G4's "Attack Of The Show," where he mentioned that he has an alleged 50 hours of scripts for a gap-bridging, live-action "Star Wars" series. For some reason when I heard about Paris Hilton's new show, "The World According to Paris," I decided I would give it the benefit of the doubt. To be honest, I somewhat enjoyed Hilton's first show "The Simple Life." She and Nicole Richie were hysterical and the series was based on the duo actually attempting manual labor. Lucas will play Mitch McDeere, ten years older, a little bit wiser, and still in the same old trouble. The show will pick up ten years after the film ended, and find Mitch emerging from the witness protection program he's been in since working with the FBI to reveal his firm's (yes, THE firm) mob connections.

CBS' news hour program "60 Minutes" has gotten on the bad side of cyclist Lance Armstrong, and it doesn't look like they care, either.
A few weeks ago, "60 Minutes" aired an investigative story about Armstrong's alleged history of doping. Among the claims made by the story was that new evidence points to Armstrong having used illegal performance-enhancing substances during the Tour de Suisse in 2001.
