Bobby Brown Officially Slapped With Drunk-Driving Charge

Bobby Brown's tour with New Edition is probably the least of his concerns right now. The late Whitney Houston's ex-husband and New Edition's co-founder was charged Wednesday in Los Angeles with two drunk driving-related offenses and one charge of driving with a suspended license following a Monday night arrest, the Associated Press reported. Tiffany Feder, Brown's attorney, didn't immediately return the AP's request for a comment, but reportedly denied earlier Wednesday that Brown had been driving unsafely.

Summer isn't exactly a television fanatic's golden time, but FOX has a few treats in store despite scaling back a returning hit. "So You Think You Can Dance" kicks off its ninth season with a two-hour Thursday May 24 premiere, but it's boldly going to a place many fellow prime time competitions don't: one fewer night per week. Judge, creator and executive producer Nigel Lythgoe announced the news this past January that the "American Idol" for fancy footwork will eschew its weekly result show.

The network that gave the world Heidi Klum's "Project Runway" and the best "Real Housewives" that "real" households have to offer has a lot more "reality" in store. Bravo is currently developing seven new unscripted series, Deadline reports. None have debut dates quite yet, but as with Bravo's entire program slate, all have roots in entertainment, fashion, food, art and pop culture.
