The Los Angeles County Coroner's Office has released Whitney Houston's official cause of death. An autopsy and toxicology results indicate that the six-time Grammy honoree died as a result of an accidental drowning to which cocaine use and heart disease contributed, reports E! Online. Houston, 48, was found unconscious the evening of Feb. 11 in her Beverly Hills Hilton hotel room's bathtub by a personal security guard.

Good Lord. It seems 2013 has shaped up as the year of the sequel square-off. Warner Bros. has shifted some potentially lucrative sequels into duels with follow-ups next year, reports Deadline. Most importantly, Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis and Ed Helms will now throw down with Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson and Paul Walker when "The Hangover 3" meets "Fast 6" on May 5, 2013.

The Motion Picture Association of America has seemingly run afoul of, among others, more than a few of the filmmakers it supposedly reins in, reports Yahoo! OMG. Cadres of famous folk including Demi Lovato, Martha Stewart, Meryl Streep, Johnny Depp, Michael Jordan and Ellen DeGeneres have joined the cause of jumping down the MPAA's throat over the regulatory board rating slapping the documentary "Bully" with an "R" rating.
