For the sake of jinxing it officiall....maybe it's time to believe the hype and admit that maybe Lindsay Lohan really has taken the straight-and-narrow seriously. Lohan has endured a scare after an investigation into allegedly hitting a pedestrian then leaving the scene last week. It's with that in mind that the 25-year-old embattled "Mean Girls" and "Machete" actress has put herself under a self-imposed "lockdown" until her probation ends in just under two weeks, reports Yahoo OMG! by way of TMZ.

People have spent years wondering, if an airplane's black box can be found intact after even the most horrific and violent crashes, why not use build an entire plane from those materials? It's a fair question. Peyton Manning spent many a year donning an Indianapolis Colt's horseshoe. How fitting he may enter his NFL career's twilight years similarly equine. Poetic witicism aside, USA Today and ESPN report that the four-time NFL MVP quarterback and former Super Bowl MVP has asked that agent Tom Condon start contract negotiations with the Denver Broncos. ESPN's Chris Mortensen broke the news late Monday morning on SportsCenter.

To hear "The Hunger Games" lead Jennifer Lawrence tell it, her art sometimes imitates life a little more than she'd like. Still, demand is demanding. Before the much talked-about Suzanne Collins adaptation's premiere this coming Friday, Lawrence said at a recent press powwow that Katniss Everdeen's fictitious fight for life in her dystopian future's annual prime-time death match sometimes doesn't feel too far off the truth.

Online.

Nobody makes a statement about anything quite like Vermont confectioners Ben & Jerry do with ice cream.
This time the socially conscious ice cream purveyors have taken the dialogue supporting gay-marriage acceptance across the pond, according to the Associate Press. The Ben & Jerry's brand has released "Apple-y Ever After" - a repacking of "Oh! My! Apple Pie!" decorated with same-sex wedding figuirines atop a wedding cake decorated with rainbows - to voice their support for Britain's gay couples lobbying for the right to be legally wed.

One of Whitney Houston's finest works turns 20 this year, and fans will gather one night only to reminisce together.
"The Bodyguard," Houston's 1992 feature-film debut alongside Kevin Costner, will get a one-night nationwide theatrical engagement March 28. It feels like it's been much longer, but it was only Feb. 11 that Houston's personal bodyguard found the six-time Grammy winner unconscious in her Beverly Hills Hilton hotel room's bathtub.

"GCB" star Annie Potts has an unsurprising counterpoint for Newt Gingrich's assault on her ABC dramedy: the GOP presidential hopeful can discuss "morality" once everybody's convinced he can spell it. Gingrich recently fired off at the popular midseason replacement starring Potts, Kristin Chenowith and other - formerly titled "Good Christian Bitches," then "Good Christian Belles" - by denouncing its "anti-Christian bigotry," as reported by The Huffington Post.
