Katherine Jackson was initially reported missing by a family member who claimed her late son Michael's three children hadn't spoken with her in a week. Now, word has come down from other family members that she's in fact resting comfortably at a doctor's insistence. Michael's 14-year-old daughter Paris isn't convinced that means she's safe.

After a second controlled detonation, Aurora, Colo. police report that they've successfully cleared "The Dark Knight Rises" shooting suspect James E. Holmes' apartment of more than 60 total explosives. According to Aurora Police Chief Daniel Oates, "Make no mistake, this apartment was designed to kill whoever entered it."

One wonders how this wasn't addressed sooner. With a Tuesday table read scheduled for the upcoming fourth season, the Emmy-collecting adult cast of ABC's "Modern Family" could have the network over a barrel to discuss new deals. None of the six have contracts for the coming season, and rumors have at least five of them wanting an increase into the six-figure range that only Ed O'Neill currently occupies.

Networks have been accommodating a collectively stunned national conscience this weekend, in deference to Friday's tragedy surrounding an Aurora, Colo. "The Dark Knight Rises" premiere. The first programming one would've expected changed has remained steadfast, though. TNT and FX aren't shying from showing Christopher Nolan's previous Batman movies, "The Dark Knight" and "Batman Begins."

Already embroiled in a custody battle, Usher Raymond has now lost a stepson. The Grammy-nominated R&B star and actor's stepson, Kile Glover, has died after being taken off life-support. The 11-year-old suffered massive injuries in a jet ski accident earlier this month.

Amid a legal fight over her son Michael's will, Katherine Jackson has officially been declared a missing person. Her nephew Trent Jackson filed the report with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. She was last heard from July 17, when she attended a New Mexico Jackson Brothers concert.
