Rumors of Katy Perry's possible involvement in the next season of "American Idol" may have been greatly exaggerated. Word surfaced Monday that producers were interested in adding the Grammy nominee as a judge for the show's 12th season. Today, Perry addressed it by saying it's "not right" for her at this point.

Just in time for a much-anticipated San Diego Comic-Con panel this week, the good artists of Mondo have been hard at work. The Austin-based boutique that crafted some retro "The Avengers" posters to mark the blockbuster's big release have apparently been wooed by Westeros. These three limited-edition prints are being made available this week to mark a highly anticipated appearance at the annual convention by "Game of Thrones" cast and producers.

I think I see why PBS shows make for such great mash-ups and parodies: not because they're worthy of mockery, but because they're parts of everybody's childhood that we just can't help but like. Who really hates "Reading Rainbow" or Mister Rogers or "Sesame Street?" Nobody, that's who. Proof-positive: Cookie Monster can take a really badly written song and actually improve it ten-fold.

Count on everybody getting bumped into a new pay-grade when "The Avengers 2" rolls around. One star in particular is already rumored to be pushed into an eight-digit salary. Scarlett Johansson's representatives are keeping very mum, but she's rumored to be in line for a $20-million salary offer from Disney and Marvel to bring Black Widow back.
