July 18, 2011 @ 3:00 pm PST    Curb Your Enthusiasm     Andy Neuenschwander
Last week's premiere had Larry losing Cheryl, losing the house, and gaining a pack of irate Girl Scouts. But it's a new week, so there's a whole new set of people for Larry to piss off. It all starts with Larry, Jeff and Funkhouser waiting for Richard to show up to lunch, when Funkhouser informs them that Richard is dating a burlesque dancer. This intrigues the boys enough to decide to go see her perform, but not enough to do the "hands in" with Funkhouser.

Take note, Bieber-ites: the way you get Justin Bieber to show up to an event is to sing his songs really loudly over karaoke. That's what lead Bieber and his girlfriend Selena Gomez to crash the Malibu wedding of a couple on Friday night. Bieber claimed that he was driving past the wedding and heard one of his songs being sung over karaoke by one of the wedding guests, and decided to check it out.

July 18, 2011 @ 12:40 pm PST    Cash Cab     Richard Sharp
In a tragic story that seems right out of a "CSI" episode, a production taxi cab used in filming the popular mobile trivia quiz series "Cash Cab" struck and killed a man in Vancouver, British Columbia over the weekend, according to The Vancouver Sun. Lindsey Houghton, spokesman for the Vancouver Police Department, said that the unnamed 61-year-old man was struck by the "Cash Cab" on Friday evening, and was taken shortly thereafter to the hospital, where he died.

'True Blood' Season 4, Episode 4 'I'm Alive and On Fire' Recap
July 18, 2011 @ 10:34 am PST    True Blood     Britt Ashley
So, this is one of those episodes where pretty much no one gets what they want and everyone ends up in some kind of trouble. Eric is completely wasted on fairy godmother, slurring his words and playing grab ass with Sookie before stumble-vamping off into the woods, unfazed by the coming sunrise. I guess in addition to smelling like sunshine and freedom, fairy blood is to vampires as Red Bull cocktails are to skinny sorority girls.

Episode 'Falling Skies' Season 1, Episode 6 - 'Sanctuary' Recap
July 18, 2011 @ 6:55 am PST    Falling Skies     Andy Neuenschwander
The theme of this week's episode seemed to be "remember who the enemy is." But the question of the week was this: why is everyone in 2nd Mass a total a$#hole? "Sanctuary" started off with Anne dealing with a crazed father pulling a gun on her so that he could steal some medicine and run away with his family. I guess Pope isn't the only one who's selfish enough to be a jerk during a mass extinction.
