Or..to afterlife. Gervais and Phillips are currently working on a new comedy called "Afterlife," according to EW. The show tells the story of an atheist who dies and, ironically, goes to heaven.

Forget romantic comedies, one of the biggest "will they or won't they" stories of late has been whether or not Universal would go through with their plans to adapt the Stephen King fantasy series "The Dark Tower" into a set of movies. As it turns out, they won't. Though there was hope of late that the project could pull through with some changes, Universal has officially pulled the plug on the project.

July 19, 2011 @ 4:00 am PST    The Office, Crazy, Stupid, Love     Andy Neuenschwander
As great as James Spader is, there are a lot of fans of "The Office" out there who wish that he wasn't coming on to replace the exiting Steve Carell. After all, Carell was the heart and soul of the show, and it just won't be the same without him. But there's at least one fan that's really excited to see Spader take over, and that's Carell himself.

July 18, 2011 @ 9:35 pm PST    Hell's Kitchen     Andy Neuenschwander
The montage at the beginning of this premiere episode promises "the most volatile season yet." Judging by all the yelling, screaming and crying going on, that might actually be the case. At the start of our first episode of the new season, we get a little roundtable introduction to our chefs, including the large and bearded Jason, the Jersey-born Will, and the already-annoying Carrie, who thinks she's a lot hotter than she actually is.

Awful truth, or clever editing? You decide! A new preview clip of the upcoming season of "Jersey Shore" has The Situation confronting Snooki about an alleged hook-up, which Snooki vehemently denies. "She told me not to tell anyone," says Sitch, after a full-on argument erupts between him and Snicks. Does this mean that Sitch and Snooki hooked up? It certainly looks that way.

Hilariously Crappy to Just Crappy - Watch Rebecca Black's New Video
July 18, 2011 @ 3:25 pm PST    Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Glee     Richard Sharp
To tell you the truth, I never got why people gave a rat's ass about Rebecca Black or "Friday." Sure the song was crappy, and the video was ludicrous, but was it really awful enough to warrant such an explosive internet phenomena? To command parody covers from the likes of Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Fallon, not to mention the cast of "Glee"? Meh. Luck, kismet and earnestness brought Rebecca Black into the public eye, and now she's back with another video. Watch it here.

As if the news could possibly get any better for Warner Bros., it turns out that the Monday actuals for "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2" were even better than the Sunday estimates said. Those estimates already had "Harry Potter 7-2" breaking box office records, but apparently it broke them even more.
