Well, this is the Internet. I shouldn't be that surprised that word gets around fast. "The Bachelor" Season 15 winner Emily Maynard sat down during the July 11 episode of "The Bachelorette" for a candid chat with host Chris Harrison about everything that led up to her recent tabloid-scrutinized split with two-time "Bachelor" Brad Womack. No sooner did Maynard's interview hit the airwaves than speculation began that she had been annointed Season Eight's "Bachelorette"-in-Waiting.

Damn it. For a moment, "The Bachelorette" actually got to me a little. It's the way these competitive reality shows go. At some point after so many weeks, everybody makes a connection with someone, until everybody really has somebody they can root on each week. Ryan Park's bottomless, plucky enthusiasm had him collecting roses like a klepto florist, making his fellow suitors a mite nervous and a more than a little irked that he just might run away with Ashley's hand in his, and just looking like the whole ball of wax might be his to lose. Then he lost it.

With the nominees for the 2011 Emmy Awards set to be announced on Thursday morning, everyone is wondering who will make it this year. It's true that the Emmys can sometimes seem a bit predictable (oh look! Alec Baldwin won! AGAIN!), this year is shaping up to be fairly interesting. Here's a look at our predictions in some of the major categories.

If you're a "Glee" fan, chances are your favorite character will not be back when Season 4 of the popular show comes around, according to a just-released interview with series creator Ryan Murphy. Since this season's made it pretty clear that Ashley's not a big one on learning from her mistakes, let's hope I wasn't the only one sitting down Monday night with a legal pad and can of Xyience when "The Bachelor" Season 15 winner Emily Maynard sat down with host Chris Harrison for a candid interview about how the public eye ultimately mortally wounded her relationship with Womack.

The new trailer for "Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows" just came out, and it's chock full of Guy Ritchie's signature stylized explosive action and plenty of Robert Downey, Jr. hamming it up half-clothed and sporting makeup.

For the second time in a week, the bassist from a high-profile metal act has run into weird and deadly serious trouble with the cops. Just a few days after Coheed and Cambria bassist Michael Todd was arrested hours before a concert for holding up a Walgreens, 39-year-old Nick Oliveri, the former bassist from Queens of the Stone Age, was reportedly in a SWAT standoff with police in L.A. Wtf?

Despite the fact that Ian is officially dead and our little liars are no longer considered people of interest in his disappearance or Allison's murder, Emily refuses to relax and celebrate like the other girls. After some "Wheel of Fortune"-style sleuthing and a little snarky prodding from A, Emily realizes Ian's suicide/confession note is composed entirely of direct quotes from the bitchy texts A has sent them over the last few months. Find out what happens next in this week's episode recap.
