'Harry Potter' Star Emma Watson Makes it Official: She's Leaving Brown University

Last month we reported that "Harry Potter" star Emma Watson was taking a "break" from her studies at Brown University to focus on her acting. Now it seems the actress has other plans.

The New York Times is reporting that Watson's rep, Vanessa Davies, confirmed the news but is denying rumors that the school swap is due to bullying.

Davies said that Waston had in fact developed a solid circle of friends and "has absolutely loved her time at Brown.

Nope, Simon's big reveal is that the next judge on "The X Factor" is most likely....wait for it...Paula Abdul. Wah wah. Oh and British singer Cheryl Cole.

While many singers request that interesting food items be miraculously waiting for them in their dressing rooms, Britney Spears is demanding that food be kept away.

The sugary-sweet singer is banning junk food during her Femme Fatale tour.

According to The Sun, strict instructions have been given to caterers not to prepare of offer any junk food, including cookie dough ice cream.

Lindsay Lohan walked out of jail Friday night, after nearly five hours in custody.

Earlier that day, Lohan’s felony charge was reduced to a misdemeanor, but as PopEater reports, Lohan was sentenced to 120 days in jail, plus 480 hours of community service for violating probation on a 2007 DUI.

After meeting a $75,000 bail, thanks to a bondsman, Lohan left the Lynwood Correctional Facility and is due in court May 11 for a pretrial hearing regarding the theft of a necklace.

Worries of lagging box office sales might be over for Hollywood, as Easter weekend drew in some huge numbers, up nearly 40% from last year (last year saw a non-holiday weekend, but still...let's be positive, eh?).

The healthy box office gross was aided by two strong family films in theaters over the holiday weekend. The big winner was "Rio," which had a strong second weekend with $26.

Lady Gaga has been putting her poker face to use, tumble after tumble.

During a recent performance in Atlanta on her Monster Ball tour, Gaga was singing “Poker Face” when she threw down some clothing and took one step forward, leading to a slippery fall and then a total face plant.

Without missing a beat or looking upset, Gaga jumped up and kept going. No injury was reported.

Just the other day, you might have read this among the musings on Yidio: "We'd lay serious money on the show not lasting beyond this season."

The show in question is "The Paul Reiser Show," and guess what: we were right. Not only did the show not last past this season, it has been pulled from NBC's schedule after just two episodes! It takes very poor ratings for a show to be pulled after just two weeks, but the 0.

Maybe you've had the same hair-pulling frustration with the new "American Idol" judges as I have: they're just too darned nice. Ever since Simon Cowell left, all anyone ever gets anymore on that show is praise.

Well, Jimmy Kimmel and Christoph Waltz have had the same frustrations. Waltz was on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" to promote "Water for Elephants" (he's also known for his role in "Inglourious Basterds") and he managed to fit in a quick "American Idol" sketch while he was at it.
