Oscar-Nominated 'Restrepo' Director Tim Hetherington Killed in Libya

Tim Hetherington, Oscar-nominated co-director of 'Restrepo,' a documentary about the war in Afghanistan, died today while covering the war in Libya.

Hetherington was amongst a group of photographers shooting footage of the conflict in Misrata. The photojournalist and director was reportedly on assignment for the news agency Panos.

There has been plenty of talk about "The Dark Knight Rises," but there's another Batman film with some buzz surrounding it...and it's animated!

"Batman: Year One" is being adapted from the Frank Miller comic book of the same name. Miller is famous for having written Sin City and 300, among other classic comics (that are now movies). The story follows a young Bruce Wayne as he takes on the identity of Batman and begins to form a working relationship with Lieutenant Gordon.

It's getting close to summer time, which means great weather, lots of sun, and day trips to the beach...for those of us who aren't indoors watching all the great summer TV series, that is.

FX has announced the premiere dates for three of its original summer series: "Rescue Me," "Louie," and the brand-new "Wilfred."

"Wilfred" stars Elijah Wood in what will be the actor's TV debut.

The upcoming movie about the Gotti family entitled "Gotti: Three Generations," currently in development, is having some problems keeping people on board. Just the other day, director Nick Cassavetes dropped out of the production.

Now Lindsay Lohan, who was up for the role of Victoria Gotti, is officially out as well. It's a surprise, as Lohan even showed up for a press conference with the producer and John Travolta just the other day.

You think you know weird, Lady Gaga? Well say hello to my lil’ friend, Weird Al.

Parody master and recent children’s author Weird Al Yankovich took to his blog today to share the disappointing news that Lady Gaga had denied him the right to parody her song "Born This Way" on his upcoming album.

Weird Al had decided to donate any proceeds made from the song or music video for his parody "Perform This Way" to charity - specifically the Human Rights Campaign, but apparently that's not good enough for the yolky songstress.

The strict instructions come after residents of the historic city expressed outrage at the "Shore" infiltration.

The New York Post is reporting that Italian mayor Matteo Renzi has released a list of rules for the "Jersey Shore" cast to follow and it doesn't include fun and games.

Well folks, get ready to bust a gut because the singer/actor, who has won two Emmys for previous "SNL" skits, will be back next month. This revelation comes to us care of Twitter.

When a fan tweeted, "I didn’t realize that @nbcsnl isn’t back until May 7th!!! What am I going to do!? Is Tina Fey the season finale!? #SNL #aaahhhh," the show replied, "Nope! We have Timberlake after that!"

WTF: Police Investigating Rebecca Black Death Threats

Today in "are you kidding me" news: someone has sent two death threats to 13-year-old YouTube sensation Rebecca Black. Black made waves in all platforms of pop culture when she released a music video for her pop song "Friday," which was both criticized and loved for how awesomely bad it is.

Sources from the Anaheim police report that the threats were made by phone and by email through Black's management company, and that they essentially said that Black's music should be taken off the internet, or she would be killed.
