Here's the deal: Mark Wahlberg and Justin Bieber are reportedly working out a deal with Paramount to create a basketball movie starring Bieber and written by "How to Make It in America" writer Ian Edelman. Since Bieber's documentary "Never Say Never" made bank for Paramount, they're obviously looking to capitalize even more on the young star's popularity.

April 28, 2011 @ 4:59 am PST    Terminator 2: Judgment Day     Andy Neuenschwander
You might be a James Cameron superfan. You might have seen "Terminator 2: Judgement Day" 50 times. But you haven't seen it quite like this. The Husky Jackal Theatre Company in Nashville, Tennessee is planning a rather unconventional performance this year: they're going to do a version of "Terminator 2" entirely in Elizabethan English, just as if Shakespeare himself had written it.

Obscene Recipe of the Day: The Ron Swanson Turkey Burger, Inspired by 'Parks and Recreation'
April 28, 2011 @ 4:52 am PST    Parks & Recreation     Andy Neuenschwander
Here's how you know you're a true fan of a TV show: you hear a supporting character make an off-handed comment about a hamburger, and you go out and write up a recipe for that burger. That's what Eater.com did after last week's episode of "Parks & Recreation." The episode had Ron Swanson (Nick Offerman) facing off against Chris Traeger (Rob Lowe) in a cook-off to determine whether a turkey burger could be better than a hamburger.

Zorro To Be Rebooted Into Post-Apocalyptic Wasteland?
April 27, 2011 @ 2:52 pm PST    The Legend of Zorro, Batman Begins, No Country for Old Men     Andy Neuenschwander
For decades, we've all known Zorro as the masked swordsman who fights against tyranny in the 1800's in Mexico and around the world. But if 20th Century Fox has its way, that's about to change. Fox is developing a reboot currently titled "Zorro Reborn" in an attempt to bring the hero back to the cinematic forefront after a hiatus of about six years ("The Legend of Zorro" hit theaters in 2005).

April 27, 2011 @ 2:37 pm PST    Celebrity Apprentice, Entourage , Piranha 3DD, Conan , Piranha 3D     Andy Neuenschwander
Gary Busey may have been fired from "Celebrity Apprentice," but just because he's no longer in that shark tank doesn't mean he won't still be fighting off ruthless attackers. Busey has just been cast in "Piranha 3DD," the sequel to the tongue-in-cheek "Piranha 3D." The movie promises more of the same: sex, violence, comedy, and people being devoured by man-eating fishies.

Yidio Video of the Day: Amazing New Fan Film 'The Batman Complex' Asks 'Was 'The Dark Knight' Just an Insane Dream?'
April 27, 2011 @ 2:17 pm PST    The Dark Knight, Inception, The Machinist     Richard Sharp
Melding "The Dark Knight," "Inception," and "The Machinist," an amazing new fan video makes it look like the latest Batman series is just the delusional dream of a mad Christian Bale. Entitled "The Batman Complex" from YouTube creator "themanbatman," the trailer-length film does a masterful job of taking disparate stories (though many of them are clearly related due to Christopher Nolan and his influence as a writer and director) and weaving them into something that is more "what if" than "wtf."

'The Ultimate Fighter': UFC Star Brock Lesnar Is Losing at Reality TV, Crying All the Way to the Bank
April 27, 2011 @ 12:58 pm PST    The Ultimate Fighter     Sean Comer
So UFC superstar Brock Lesnar's debut coaching stint on "The Ultimate Fighter" has so far been a failure. From what ESPN The Magazine tells us, he won't have trouble drying his eyes. Just look for the nearest crisp, new Benjamin lying about. The former UFC Heavyweight Champion went 1-1 in 2010 and lost the championship he'd defended twice successfully. Still, pocketing a reported cool $5.3 million must make quite the consolation prize.
