If Hollywood ever finds itself struggling again at the box office, there's a simple solution: release another "Fast and the Furious" movie.
"Fast Five" took the top spot at the box office this weekend, earning a cool $83.6 million domestically. That's a record both for Universal and for an April opening under any studio. "Fast Five" has already been showing overseas for a week, and after two weeks it has earned just over $81 million.

iTunes has a new king for the day, and it's Darren Criss. The "Glee" star had not one, but two albums on the iTunes top five today: one of them is "Glee: The Music Presents The Warblers," featuring Criss as Blaine and the rest of the Warblers performing their music from the show.
The other is the original cast recording of the music from "Starship," the newest production from Starkid, the theater company that Criss started with fellow classmates from the University of Michigan.

It's been a long time since Robert Zemeckis directed a live-action movie: his last was "Cast Away" back in 2000. It's been even longer since he visited a time travel storyline, as he did with the "Back to the Future" trilogy, which remain some of the best time travel movies ever made.
Zemeckis could soon return to form in both cases as he's currently in talks to direct the exciting upcoming project "Replay."

The reality show starts on June 12th on the Oxygen network, and will feature the contestants being mentored by guest stars (including Darren Criss, who plays Blaine on the hit Fox show).

Let me start by saying this: I may recap "Glee" here on Yidio, but I can't say I'm the biggest fan of the show in its current form. What started as a brilliant, ironic, self-aware comedy has become more of a melodrama lately, one that takes itself far more seriously than any musical probably should.
Thus, I read any criticism of the show with an open mind: it has its flaws, and those flaws can be discussed by any critics who choose to approach them.

Done. Deal.
In case you've been living under a rock lately, or have been in a self-imposed anti-Royal media lockdown, Prince William and Kate Middleton officially tied the knot today.
If, like a lot of us, you were curious about the Royal Wedding, but not so curious you were willing to get up pre-crack of dawn to watch the festivities over in England live (or here on Yidio), you're in luck.

Always give Stephen King this much due: for every cult-classic adaptation of "The Shining," "It," "The Shawshank Redemption" or "Carrie," fans get suckered into two absolute wastes like "Dreamcatcher" or "The Langoliers." But no matter the track record, King's turns to the big and small screens get the best and brightest involved, from legendary auteur director Stanley Kubrick, to Jack Nicholson, Tim Curry, John Cusack, Kathy Bates and Morgan Freeman.

In one of the most poorly-timed TV events in recent memory, Fox had a hurricane-themed cross-over event planned for its "Animation Domination" block on Sunday. The three Seth MacFarlane shows ("Family Guy," "American Dad" and "The Cleveland Show") were all going to share a common theme: a hurricane hitting the area in which the shows take place.

Copyright infringement lawsuits are a dime a dozen, especially when it comes to Hollywood. But I don't think I've ever seen one about a face tattoo before.
S. Victor Whitmill, the man who designed and drew Mike Tyson's famous face tattoo, is suing Warner Bros. over their use of the tattoo on Ed Helms' face in "The Hangover: Part II." Whitmill actually copyrighted the tattoo and had Mike Tyson sign to it, ensuring that no one else could use that tattoo design.
