If last night's "MTV Movie Awards" had you scoffing at the idea that "Twilight" should win Best Movie, then you'll be happy to hear that the inaugural "Critics' Choice Television Awards" have just announced their nominees.
The "Critics' Choice Awards" have been in running for a while now, awarding movies based on the quality of their content rather than their political pull or their ability to bring celebrities to the awards show (I'm looking at you, Golden Globes and "The Tourist.")

As we've been reporting for the past couple weeks, there has been intense speculation that Simon Cowell fave Cheryl Cole was on her way out of "The X Factor" after the auditions she participated in early on in the show's production didn't go as well as Fox execs had anticipated. It was widely reported that Cole's accent was to blame, another source cited her "negative demeanor." Whatever the reason, she's outta there, and as we suspected, she'll be replaced by former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger.
