After two and a half seasons of cracking cases (with science!), Emmy winner Laurence Fishburne is leaving "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation."
Fishburne's contract was up for renewal this year, but the actor decided not to renew it. For the past couple of seasons, Fishburne has been playing the leading role of Dr. Raymond Langston on the CBS show, which was once hailed as the biggest show on television.

Some years, the Emmy Awards can be so difficult to predict that it seems like you would need some kind of TV genius to figure out who's going to win. Luckily, there's Abed Nadir, a certified television savant from Greendale Community College who, to the shock of his professor, correctly answered the question, "Who's the Boss?"
There's just one problem: Abed Nadir doesn't exist.

It appears that 20th Century Fox has a writer, director and potentially a lead on board for their reboot of Marvel Comics' Daredevil. "Fringe" writer and avid "Daredevil" fan Brad Caleb Kane is at work penning a script based on Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli's "Born Again" comic arc. Xavier Samuels of "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" is rumored to be in the running to play Daredevil.

We join the second season of "Covert Affairs" on a Guam beach, where 28-year-old CIA trainee Annie Walker (Piper Perabo) walks into the surf in a bikini. Off and on, we flash to Annie running alongside a stretcher-bound Ben Mercer (Eion Bailey) as he?s wheeled from a chopper to an ambulance, having been severely wounded. After a swim, she saunters up to Ben in a wheelchair, kisses him gently, and wheels him back toward a Naval hospital. Enter the gun-toting assassins.

Not content with merely being an actor/filmmaker/author/painter/model/host/student/teacher, James Franco is set to release his first EP, and he's brought along a collaborator he met during his 'General Hospital' days along with him. The EP will be released on July 12th in both digital and physical versions, and will feature three songs.

Last week, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder spoke at the Department of Justice on a very important matter: bringing back "The Wire" to HBO for another season. Holder said he was "reminded how great that series was," and stated outright, "I want another season."
The good news is that co-creator David Simon is ready and willing to make another season. But, he has one condition, and it's a doozy.

So if Lil' Indy is to be believed, it seems that George Lucas and Steven Spielberg might be ready to set the pail beneath an audience-beloved cash cow's udders one more time.
MTV spoke with Shia LaBeouf at the MTV Movie Awards earlier this week, and the man who played Indian Jones' long-lost son in "Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull" claims that not only is a fifth flick on the way, he's already glimpsed the script.

Tuesday night marked the first live episode of "The Voice," as the vocal competition show expanded back to two hours and featured the finalized teams competing against each other.
It was Team Christina Aguilera versus Team Blake Shelton last night, and though performers on Team Blake did well (Dia Frampton performed a unique cover of Kanye West's "Heartless" that was quite lovely), their group performance paled in comparison to Team Christina's.

It wasn't so very long ago that Yidio reported that cost concerns might bury AMC's "The Walking Dead" before the drama could follow up its hit first season.
Well, how things change . . .
While no one should believe that a return is a sure thing until we're all gathered around watching the premiere of a new season, AMC has stoked a little optimism with this first image from the latest shoots of the show.

Two decades ago, who would've ever thought that a late-night television precedent would be set by, of all the networks . . . TBS?
Believe it or not, it will happen. For the first time in late night history, two back-to-back hosts on the same network will guest on each others' shows this Thursday, June 9. starting at 11 ET/10 CT, reports Deadline today.
Conan O'Brien will get the ball rolling dropping in on George Lopez's "Lopez Tonight," followed by Lopez immediately dropping in on "Conan" right after.
