Forget "Twilight" versus "Harry Potter" - there's a whole Twitter war of attrition for which absolutely nobody clamoring. In the latest skirmish to be filed under "Really? This is a thing?", Justin Bieber's obssessive little cult of personality has momentarily broken from harrassing the bystanders at whom Bieber points his little lilly-white finger and decided to go hard at Lady Gaga's own ardent following.

He's hardly a TV veteran, better known for big-screen hits like "Platoon", "Wall Street" and "Major League" - but Charlie Sheen claims his latest endeavor could mark his short small-screen run's end.
In a perfect world, Sheen told Access Hollywood, his forthcoming FX comedy "Anger Management" would ultimately be a hit "swan song" that caps his television endeavors after it premieres Jan.

Check it out, everybody! Somebody liked Disney's "John Carter" after all! Lots of people liked it, in fact - just not Americans, according to The Huffington Post. In its first 10 days on screens in China, Disney's most questionable release in years made $10.4 million in its opening weekend and a total $29.8 million in its first 10 days. The opening weekend numbers alone were good enough for Disney's second-highest Chinese opening weekend ever.

Let this further support the idea that maybe Lindsay Lohan has changed - and that the right people have noticed. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner Thursday released an overjoyed Lohan from two years spent on occasionally violated supervised probation, the Associated Press reported. The 25-year-old "Mean Girls" and "Herbie: Fully Loaded" star's legal entanglements began with a 2010 DUI arrest and continued with a 2011 jewelry-theft charge.

"Bones" had a somewhat topsy-turvy year schedule-wise, but it remained a hit and FOX rewarded it in kind. The science-meets-law-enforcement procedural starring David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel has been given FOX's first drama renewal of the year, guaranteeing an eighth season this coming fall, Entertainment Weekly reports.

Unlike the general loathing Kate Gosselin managed to engender, the backlash against these remarks will probably be a strongly focused beam from environmental and famine advocates. "19 Kids And Counting" matriarch Michelle Duggar made a Christian Broadcasting Network appearance recently in which she deemed claims that the world has more living things than it can handle to be pure poppycock.
