Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Elizabeth Anne White has denied Disney and ABC's defense motion to dismiss Nicollette Sheridan's wrongful termination claim, and set a negotiated Sept. 10 start date for the former "Desperate Housewives" star's retrial. White had originally set forth a June 4 start and 12-day limit on the new proceedings following a hung jury being declared March 19 in the first trial, Deadline reports.

The Florida federal judge who'd been set to preside over George Zimmerman's second degree murder trial has accepted a defense motion and excused herself from the proceedings, CNN has reported.
Seminole Circuit Judge Jessica Recksiedler acknowledged Wednesday that her husband works with current CNN legal analyst Mark NeJame following a motion by Zimmerman defense attorney Mark O'Mara suggesting that her involvement compromises the proceedings.

Now the story of a wealthy family who lost everything, and the streaming video giant who raised their beloved, departed FOX comedy from the grave. It's once more "Arrested Development". That photo to the left? It's a lot like seeing the confirmed cover art for Guns N' Roses' Chinese Democracy. Think of it along the lines of seeing the first Duke Nukem Forever game-play footage.

Film history's second highest-grossing release claimed still another box office record this past weekend, Deadline reports. Twentieth Century Fox and IMAX jointly declared Wednesday that James Cameron's re-released historic epic "Titanic 3D" has set a new precedent as China's highest-grossing IMAX opening weekend, hauling in $7 million across the 64 formatted screens showing it.

It's hard to really "sensationalize" anything Ted Nugent says. Often, for the several valid points he can sometimes make, it's hard to make others actually sound more crazy than they already do at the time. So it is that we now introduce, Ted Nugent....rocker, activist, gun-owner, hunter, "black Jew at a Nazi-Klan rally." That last part? His words, not ours.
