Through the years, FOX has gained a deserved reputation for sometimes backing the wrong pony. Though some execs should forever be haunted by some bad decisions, there's at least a sense of appreciation for the ones that worked out. That's why, with FOX now celebrating its 25th year on the air for better and for worse, the network is honoring its legacy with a one-night-only return of the Bundy family.

Guns N' Roses singer Axl Rose said it as politely as he could, but still made it completely clear: he won't attend his band's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction because he won't tread where he isn't welcome. Rose didn't simply publicly decline the invitation to attend this week's induction ceremony among fellow lineup inductees Slash, Izzy Stradlin, Duff McKagen and Steven Adler, Reuters reports. He wants his name struck from the Hall's record.

George Zimmerman, the neighborhood watch volunteer who shot and killed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin this past February, is in custody and officially now faces a second-degree murder charge. "We did not come to this decision lightly," appointed special prosecutor Angela Corey told gathered media late Wednesday afternoon, according to MSNBC.

If the rumors prove true, "The X Factor" producer Simon Cowell's restaffing job seems one-third done. Entertainment Weekly reports that at long last, Britney Spears has entered "final-stage" negotiations that could land her alongside returning judges Cowell and Antonio "L.A." Reid when the 2011 prime time hit returns this fall. Early reports have her nailing down a $15-million deal but EW hasn't suggested how many seasons it might entail.

Special prosecutor Angela Corey will announce at 6 PM ET that George Zimmerman will face criminal charges in the Feb. 26 shooting death of Trayvon Martin, NBC News has learned. The law enforcement official who informed NBC News correspondent Pete Williams of the forthcoming announcement on condition of anonymity did not disclose just what charges Corey would be filing.
