TMZ and The Huffington Post report today that the makers of ABC's hit reality dating shows "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette" will soon face a lawsuit alleging discrimination against casting minority singles. Attorneys representing Nathaniel Claybrooks and Christopher Johnson will allegedly file their federal court complaints Wednesday morning against ABC production companies Warner Horizon Television, Next Entertainment, NZK Productions and excecutive producer Mike Fleiss.

(WARNING: The following may contain "The Vampire Diaries" spoilers....as well as vampires as a whole and beating people over the head with environmental messages holding hands as they jump higher and higher over the shark.) Call it an obvious conclusion, and maybe a more obvious still joke, but....well, at least they aren't sparkling. Look away if you really didn't think vampires could be more clearly neutered: Ian Somerhalder has an idea for "The Vampire Diaries" to birth the "green" vampire into pop culture's waiting arms, E! Online reports.

For USA Network, there never really is an off-season. While summer is often rerun season on many major networks, USA has that rare model where there's always something a full, fresh lineup. Sure, it's a wrap on the latest season of "Psych" and the final round nears for "In Plain Sight", and it feels like just yesterday that the third season of "White Collar" finished up. But there's more original-TV goodness right around the corner....

Yeah, Michael Fassbender. You seem nice and everything, but we're still just going to go over to this side of the room, now. Half the fun of summer blockbusters is had in watching the marketing. With the exception of the straight-forward manipulation of the hype and speculation surrounding "The Dark Knight Rises", few campaigns have been as intriguing as the one heralding Ridley Scott's sci-fi thriller "Prometheus".
