Stranger changes have been made in adaptation. NBC's Thomas Harris prequel/re-imagining "Hannibal" has re-cast tabloid sleaze Freddy Lounds - previously played by Stephen Lang and Phillip Seymour Hoffman - as "Freddie Lounds," now to be played by "Camelot" actress Lara Jean Chorostecki.

It might've been delayed, but it looks worth the wait. Tonight, across the Atlantic, the U.K. celebrates the premiere event for this fall's seventh series of "Doctor Who." It's the last for companions Amy Pond and Rory Williams, but look on the bright side: before they go, they might get to see The Eleventh Doctor ride a dinosaur. We may need a lot more hemp before we're through.
