Iconic 'Superman' Theme Not In Snyder's 'Man Of Steel'

Indeed, it's a sad thing. It's just not necessarily a bad thing. John Williams' iconic 1978 "Superman" theme will be conspicuously absent from director Zack Snyder's 2013 "Man of Steel." Considering what a mixed bag the four films following the original have been, Snyder's distancing of his vision from the expectations of the original franchise may be his soundest road to achieving respect.

Well, if the IOC doesn't care about viewer complaints, why should NBC? Putting the turd atop the sundae of 2012 Summer Olympics programming fail, the network edited and truncated Sunday night's Closing Ceremonies in favor of previewing a fall sitcom. Twitter was angered.

'The Voice' Season 3 Adds New Contestant-Stealing Format

"The Voice" is shaking things up for its third season, adding the ability for judges to steal each others' contestants. We can only hope that this will lead to more trash talking between Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera.

Another day, another "Catching Fire" role is off the board. This time, it's veteran actress Maria Howell takes up the role of former District 11 tribute Seeder in 2013's "The Hunger Games" sequel. Howell has shone previously in roles from 1985's "The Color Purple" to "Meet The Browns" and "House of Payne."
