The finalists are singing songs from the movies tonight, so drama is in the air. If there's any doubt of that, the large letters set over smoke reminding us that "every vote counts" and "no one is safe" will convince you.

Seacrest starts things off by congratulating Jennifer Lopez on her "Most Beautiful Woman" title from People.
"Rock of Ages," the movie based on the Broadway musical, has its newest cast member in "Arthur" star Russell Brand.
In a way, it seems an obvious choice: those who saw how Brand used to dress before Katy Perry got hold of him know exactly why he would be considered for a role in a movie about rock and roll in the 1980's.
Brand won't be playing a rocker in the movie per se, though.
Earlier this week we reported that "30 Rock" star Alec Baldwin would be joining Woody Allen's new film, and that Jesse Eisenberg was in talks for a lead role. Well, Eisenberg has been confirmed, and there's even more good news about the cast!
Indie darling Ellen Page has also signed on, filling in the younger female lead. That makes the foursome of leading actors to be Alec Baldwin, Jesse Eisenberg, Ellen Page and Penelope Cruz, the last of whom announced her involvement last week.
Filmmaker Kevin Smith is everywhere these days, talking up (and screening for big dollars) his new film "Red State."
The "Clerks" and "Dogma" director visited the filmmakers and broadcasters congregating at NAB in Vegas this morning, and as usual, he had a lot to say. Yidio was on site for the event, and Smith was laugh-out loud entertaining, offering up clips of the surprisingly action-driven film and a boatload of profanity-laden quotes.
It looks like we might have a director to reboot the "Terminator" franchise...again. After the failure of "Terminator: Salvation" to revive the movie series, director Justin Lin ("Fast Five") has said that he has his own take on the story and would like to have a go at it.

Actually, as "X-Men: First Class" is set in 1962, a sequel as proposed by Vaughn would take place a few years later, in the mid-to-late 1960's.
After five seasons of reality success and three spin-offs, it seems only fitting that rumors of a Kardashian movie are afloat.
Kim, who gave her music career a shot earlier this year, told PopEater the big screen was not out of the question, but it’s not yet in the picture.
“I don’t know about one,” Kim said as the family walked Redbook’s red carpet Tuesday night.
Justin Bieber just wants to be like everyone else.
Which is why after being hounded by the media in Israel while visiting holy sites, Bieber took to Twitter to vent.
"Im in the holy land and i am grateful for that. I just want to have the same personal experience that others have here."
Bieber, whose picture was taken while in places of worship, was unable to experience Israel in the same way that most would.
