A good celebrity cameo on "Entourage" can make all the difference. Remember back in the good ol' days, when Garey Busey would show up acting all crazy and eventually baptized Turtle with seawater? Good times.
"Entourage" creator Doug Ellin was hoping for some more star power for the eighth and final season. He wanted someone who could bring not only some Hollywood weight to the show, but could also potentially out-crazy Busey. He looked into Charlie Sheen's crazy ass, but instead landed on Andrew Dice Clay. Huh?

In her 4,561st day in front of a studio audience, Oprah Winfrey proved she's still got it. The finale of "The Oprah Winfrey Show" was part preaching, part lecture and part conversation with your older sister.
The legend wanted to be sure her final sit down with fans was intimate and meaningful, and she succeeded. Her delivery was an uplifting and graceful farewell that only Oprah could pull off.

"The cougars are going to Hawaii!" might be an inaccurate way to promote tonight's season finale of the hit show, but I'm running with it nevertheless. At any rate, Executive Producer Bill Lawrence talked with Entertainment Weekly in a piece posted today, and he opened up about the inspiration for the hour-long episode, concocting new alcoholic beverages, and believe it or not, an appearance by a cast member of a previous Bill Lawrence joint.

If at first you don't succeed... While he wasn't able to hoist the Lombardi Trophy with the Pittsburgh Steelers this year after losing to the Green Bay Packers in the Super Bowl, Hines Ward did end up clinching the championship of "Dancing With the Stars" Season 12.
Ward and his partner Kym Johnson won with a perfect score of 30 from the judges for their samba, after scoring 59 of 60 for their two dances from Monday. It was a stunning return for the team, and particularly for Johnson, who was hospitalized May 13th after being injured performing with Ward.

The intro, complete with words set in front of super-mysterious smoke, remind us that we're watching the finale. Thanks guys, I was confused about where I was. But even without that intro, we would know that it's a special night. Why? Seacrest is wearing a tuxedo. Fancy.
Seacrest notes that this is the youngest finale match-up ever. I'll add that it's probably going to also be the most boring. Seriously, when Haley went home I fell into a deep depression, knowing that I would have to recap an all-country "American Idol" finale. So thanks for that, America.

What does it take to beat the opening-day 3D box office record of "Avatar" in Hong Kong? Apparently, all you need is "the world's first 3D softcore porn."
A movie titled "3D Sex and Zen: Extreme Ecstasy" broke the opening-day record of "Avatar" in Hong Kong, earning $351,000 in a limited release. The movie, which was locally produced in Hong Kong, is a costume drama set in the Ming Dynasty era adapted from the novel The Carnal Prayer Mat and something of a remake of a previous Hong Kong movie, "Sex and Zen."

With the release of "The Hangover: Part II" coming up, I think it's important that we all take a moment and remember how hilarious Zach Galifianakis is. He's funny enough the "The Hangover," but his stand-up and sketch comedy over the years has proven time and again just how good The Bearded One can be. Would "The Hangover" have been what it was without Zach? I say probably not.

This Smurfs thing is happening with or without you, so I'd either get on board or casually ignore it if I were you. Because otherwise...they're turn the whole world blue. Or something. Neil Patrick Harris from "How I Met Your Mother" and Jayma Mays from "Glee" handle voice duties. Watch the trailer here!!

Returning to their roots, VH1 is launching a new version of "Pop Up Video," a show that was huge around the time that music videos were huge but which left the airwaves because, even though they complain that they're not on the air much anymore, people just don't watch music videos that much anymore.
The new version will incorporate the same format - music videos play while fun trivia bits and snarky commentary pop up in little bubbles at the corner of the screen - while making new use of interactive technology.

Just an hour before the show aired on the east coast, it looked like finalist Lauren Alaina might not make it to the "American Idol" season finale. Well, as we found out last night, not only did she make it, but she brought the house down for the judges and many in attendance - including "Idol" rival Scotty McCreery.
