For some, there might not be any amount of apologizing that "30 Rock" star Tracy Morgan could do to make up for his homophobic rant last week. But that doesn't mean he won't try.
In an interview with Russell Simmons, Morgan apologized again for the rant, and tried to make it as clear as possible that he's on the side of equality. "I am so unfiltered," said Morgan, "And sometimes as a result I say really stupid s***.

Usually when one thinks of Jessica Simpson and her questions of whether tuna fish is chicken, the word "mentor" doesn't immediately come to mind. But NBC begs to differ.
The network has tapped Simpson to act as a mentor to competitors in the upcoming reality show "Fashion Star." The competition show, which will be hosted by Elle MacPherson, will feature 14 competitors as they create clothing in the hopes of winning a million bucks and a shot at their own fashion label.

If you live in Salt Lake City and you were hoping to watch "The Playboy Club" on your local NBC station, you're out of luck.
KSL-TV, an NBC affiliate station in Salt Lake City, Utah, is refusing to air the upcoming fall show "The Playboy Club" due to the fact that...well, it's about Playboy.
The Playboy brand is known internationally. Everyone is clear what it stands for," said KSL President Mark Willes.

"Twilight" director Catherine Hardwicke has revealed that she owns the bed on which Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart had their first kiss. What to do? Put it up for auction, of course!
At a charity event, Hardwicke mentioned that she still has the bed and, if enough people are interested, would be willing to put it up for auction. She wouldn't be keeping the money, of course: all proceeds would benefit the Step Up Women's Network, a charity helping underprivileged teens get through high school, into college, and on to a career.

There's seemingly all stages of involvement. First came the official word earlier this month that Christopher Meloni, who has co-anchored the police procedural as Det. Elliot Stabler for all the show's 12 seasons, won't be back for a thirteenth year.

Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the creators of "South Park," scored big with their musical "The Book of Mormon" last night, taking home Best Musical and nine other awards at the Tonys.
The musical, which the team created in collaboration with ?Avenue Q?s? Robert Lopez, took home awards for original score, book, orchestrations, set design, sound design, lighting, direction and featured actres, in addition to the Best Musical award.
