There has been an on-and-off side plot with Mercedes (played by Amber Riley) on "Glee" over the past two seasons, showing that she wants a boyfriend but can't seem to find the right guy. That could very well might change. Lamarcus Tinker is the newest addition to the "Glee" cast, a big guy who played a linebacker in the Emmy-nominated series "Friday Night Lights."

If this isn't a sign of the coming apocalypse, I don't know what is: Lionsgate is considering a move that would create a TV channel devoted entirely to Tyler Perry programming. Don't they already have that? It's called TBS. Zing! Perry, who is the creator of TV shows such as "Meet the Browns" and "House of Payne" and creator/star of the Madea movies, is a major source of income for those attached to his projects.

The season four promo for "Sons of Anarchy" has hit, and it's looking like there's going to be plenty of mayhem in the coming season. While Aria is sleeping in and having weird switcheroo sex dreams about Ezra and Jason, the other little liars have dressed up like candy stripers yet again in order to nonchalantly hang out in the corridor outside the hospital morgue. They do not find the missing page from Allison's autopsy report but they do happen to see blind Jenna strolling by talking loudly about an operation that could restore her sight. Find out what happens next in the episode recap.

While it's a little uncertain how long Lea Michele will be on "Glee" (and if she may play a part in a possible spin-off), those discussions could be impacted by some intriguing new casting rumors. Michele is reportedly being considered for the lead in a new "Dirty Dancing" remake.
According to MovieWeb, director "Kenny Ortega and his crew are pushing to cast that show's Lea Michele in the role of Jennifer Grey's Frances 'Baby' Houseman.

Few networks (with the exception of AMC perhaps) can boast as much growth over the past few years than FX. The network has been a monster in terms of creating new content, at least as far as cable networks go, and has practically invented a new TV model that favors low-budget, high-quality shows over a lot of flash and pizzazz. FX's slate is set to expand even more with the hope of having at least five original dramas and at least seven original comedies, so you can expect a lot out of them soon, starting with this fall.

The trailer for season two of "Boardwalk Empire" is out, and it asks more questions than it answers. In the promo, Steve Buscemi's corrupt politician Nucky Thompson walks down the boardwalk, surrounded by an increasingly aggressive mob of people shouting his name. As he walks, he meets eyes with various characters from the show and exchanges meaningful glances or fearful looks. Watch the new trailer here.

It looks like that time spent in Italy actually taught The Situation a bit of Italian. I'm not so sure it upped his game, though. Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino showed up on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" the other night to plug the fourth season of "Jersey Shore," and he ended up showing Jay and guest Jesse Eisenberg (of "The Social Network" and "30 Minutes or Less" fame) that he has a few Italian phrases under his belt.
