Few men worth their salt would contradict me on this one: not many life experiences demand the steely nerve and resolve of meeting one's Lady Faire's father and asking for her hand in marriage. So, that being said . . . why, exactly, wasn't this an integral part of watching the last legs of Ben and J.P.'s respective "Bachelorette" journeys Monday night?

You know, it's just no good handing some men their freedom when they just can't wait to hand it right back. Barely 48 hours removed from the finale of "The Bachelorette" revealing that it was Long Island construction contractor J.P. Rosenbaum who won Ashley Hebert's hand in marriage, the rumors are already flying that the show had barely wrapped shooting when he almost had a genius change of heart and dumped her.

For a while, it was looking pretty shaky for "The Glee Project." The reality competition series, which aims to find a new cast member (or two or three) by putting contestants through a series of challenges, started off the season with dismal ratings, and execs were left scratching their heads. But less competition and the tallying of DVR and online views helped determine that things weren't really so bad for "The Glee Project," and the show has gone on without a hitch. Now, it's looking like there might be a second season in store for the show...at least, there will be if the producers have an

For years now, there has been controversy surrounding Dane Cook and Louis C.K., as the two comedians were mired in a feud of sorts over their material. A video circulated online showed that there were striking similarities between the topics chosen by C.K. and Cook, which started rumors that he stole material. Strangely, Cook is now set to guest star on Louis' show "Louie" on FX. Watch the promo here.

Admit it. Just admit it right now. The moment you read the words "'Total Recall' remake" way back when, this was the burning question that seared itself into your mind the way Tea Partiers probably wonder, "Yeah, who is John Galt?" So let remake director Len Wiseman assuage your pressing concerns: yes, there will be a three-breasted woman in his remake, as he recently told Collider.

The last time Francis Ford Coppola made a big splash with a venture into horror, it was with his romanticized and visually gripping "Bram Stoker's Dracula" in 1992. Was that lightning in a bottle, or a trickle from an untapped well of material that Coppola has curiously not gone to since? Copolla has an independently produced horror tale called "Twixt" that will premiere at September's Toronto International Film Festival, and now we have the official trailer.

Want some proof of how badly the "Harry Potter" era's end will leave Warner Bros. hurting? At no extra charge, how about strong evidence that there is no God in Hollywood? Warner Bros. film group President Jeffrey Robinov recently sat down with the L.A, Times comic-centric blog "Hero Complex" and discussed the future of a few current and future DC Comics properties on which the studio has its hands.

Monday night's episode gave us the elimination of Gina, though I think just about everyone watching was hoping, as I was, that it would be Elise. She gives us even more reason to hate her as she celebrates not going home like she just won the freakin' lottery. The teams will be cooking for a high school reunion, and Ramsay takes Paul and Elizabeth upstairs to meet with the reunion's committee.
