The producers of "The Hunger Games" film series have released new pics from the first installment of trilogy showing Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) looking a little worse for the wear. Unlike the glossy posed promo pics from Entertainment Weekly that popped up recently, these shots show Lawrence and Hutcherson in the midst of shooting, looking sweaty, beat up, and fully entrenched in their own hunger games.

Does the idea of "Footloose" remake send you headed to the barn ready to cut loose or to the bathroom ready to retch? Either way, this next announcement is bound to make things better. Country singer and "The Voice" judge Blake Shelton is slated to record the notorious theme song for the remake, which was originally recorded by Kenny Loggins.

To say this episode was action-packed would be a wild understatement. We start off in vampire jail where Antonia has wicca-glamoured Sheriff Luis. She makes it look like he is attacking Antonia/Marnie, drawing Sexy Librarian Witch Katie into the cell. Antonia flips it so that glamoured Luis is glamouring Katie into clearing all the exits for her escape. Which she does after executing Katie for treason and sending Luis to Bill with a message announcing her return. And that's just the beginning.

It seems that the showdown between Tom and Weaver has been building since week one of this summer sci-fi series, and the beginning of the two-hour finale confirms it. Tom is still worried about Weaver's increasingly erratic behavior, and Weaver is increasingly tough on Tom. In fact, as the episode opens he tries to assign Tom and Hal to sentry duty...but when Lourdes r), both Tom and Hal doubt him even more.

Larry is caught in his own chat & cut at Pinkberry to avoid talking to Tessler about Keegan's Club, but gets booted and gets caught in his New York lie. He goes so far with it that he actually has to make plans to go to New York, which will conveniently line up with Jeff and Susie's trip. On the way back from Pinkberry, Vance sees Larry and Jeff with the Pinkberry, but Larry convinces him not to tattle...that is, until Larry puts an angry note on Vance's car about his outside-the-line park job.

Sorry Miss Jackson, these drugs aren't for real? For the sake of future Outkast albums, we sure hope so. Legendary hip-hop artist Big Boi has reportedly been arrested on drug charges after being busted by border patrol and custom agents after allegedly getting off of a cruise ship with powdered MDMA, Ecstasy pills and non-prescribed Viagra. Big Boi is facing four potential felonies for the bust.

Deadline and Entertainment Weekly are reporting that, after a long series of unsuccessful and protracted negotiations with the show's cast, "Desperate Housewives" will be ending in May of 2012. Producer Marc Cherry said today "I wanted to go out while the network still saw us as a viable show, while we were still doing well in the ratings. I wanted to go out in the classiest way possible."
