The biggest summer blockbusters may be behind us, but that doesn't mean there aren't still some big-name flicks hitting theaters. Take this weekend, for example, which offers us another sci-fi actioner in a long-running franchise, and another R-rated comedy with big stars attached. Check out trailers and reviews for "The Change-Up" and "Rise of the Planet of the Apes."

Warner Bros. has just released the first image of Anne Hathaway as Catwoman from "The Dark Knight Rises." In the new pic she's clad in a super-tight black catsuit and some high tech goggles and riding a ridiculously bad-ass bike. How does Hathaway compare to Halle Berry or Michelle Pfeiffer? To tell you the truth, it's kind of hard to tell.

Whenever a spin-off comes out, there's a decision that has to be made about the show's aesthetic: do you try to make it like its parent show, or do you branch off and do your own thing? Kevin Williamson, the executive producer of "The Secret Circle," has a definitive answer. "We want to create our own story," said Williamson of his show, which is spin-off from "The Vampire Diaries."

Earlier this week, Lorne Michaels stated that NBC comedy "30 Rock" had a long life ahead of it, even if that meant parting with series star Alec Baldwin. What would the show be like without Baldwins company man Jack Donaghy balancing out the relentless cesspool of crazy that is Tina Fey's Liz Lemon? I don't even want to ponder it. So instead of imagining what the show might be like without him, let's instead celebrate some of Alec Baldwin's best moments on "30 Rock."

"Italy is that big country...no, wait. Europe is that big country," says Snooki as the season four premiere begins. Good to know she hasn't gotten any smarter in the past six months. Wait, I mean horrifying to know. In the season opener of "Jersey Shore," the gang travels to Florence and gets acquainted with their new surroundings (or not), and things get heated between two cast members.

Back in 1993, a 16-year-old girl stepped onto the set of one of the biggest soap operas in town, "All My Children." For two years, she played the role of teenager Kendall, before departing the soap in 1995. Little did anyone know, her next move would be to appear in the cult-hit TV show "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and launch a career in feature films just a few years later. Sarah Michelle Gellar will return to her roots for a guest role on "All My Children" this fall before it goes off the TV airwaves.

Every once in a while, a bit of celebrity trivia comes along that makes you stop and say "What? Seriously?" This is one on those trivial bits. Actually, "trivia" is the perfect word for this anecdote, as told by Paul Rudd to Nylon Magazine. Apparently, Paul Rudd and Jon Hamm went to the same high school, and Hamm was in fact a friend of Rudd's family, and the two once engaged in a trivia grudge match to win a girl. Find out who won.
