Robert Pattinson Rejected for Jeff Buckley Role

Back in January of this year, we reported that "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn" star Robert Pattinson was pushing hard for a role as Jeff Buckley in an upcoming biopic. At the time, the British pub Express said "Rob is obsessed with this project and is doing everything he can to land the part." Apparently it's a no-go. Reeve Carney from "Spiderman: Turn Off The Dark" landed the role.

Taylor Momsen Quits Acting for Rock

In an interview with Elle, former "Gossip Girl" starlet-turned-rock-star Taylor Momsen says she's done being a small-screen thespian. "I quit acting, actually. I quit 'Gossip Girl' and now tour and am in a band and that's pretty much all I want to do. Hopefully I'll be able to only do that for the rest of my life." Momsen has indeed been living the life of a bona fide rock star.

There have been rumors that they cast of "Jersey Shore" might be getting replaced soon, thanks to their ever-rising salaries. MTV claims that it isn't true, but just in case, Conan O'Brien has them covered. O'Brien aired a sketch on "Conan" the other night, introducing it as the "secret audition tapes" for "Jersey Shore." What the audience actually got where auditions from some very non-guido actors.

Russell Armstrong, estranged husband of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" cast member Taylor Armstrong, reportedly killed himself last night. Taylor Armstrong had filed for divorce from Russell in July of this year, due to alleged verbal and physical abuse. The couple's marital problems were a frequent subject on season one of the reality show.
