Smith explained that he considered the story about a legendary hockey fighter who just wants one professional goal scored couldn't be contained within one flick. He actually once considered it better geared toward a TV series, now that you mention it.

'Kate Plus 8' Officially Cancelled

When TLC released their fall schedule and "Kate Plus 8" wasn't on it, we suspected the show was about to be cancelled. Now it's official. A TLC representative released a statement to People acknowledging the cancellation, though also suggesting it might not be the last we see of Kate Gosellin on the network.
