August 15, 2011 @ 7:45 am PST    The Dark Knight Rises     Sean Comer
There have been on-set accidents since shooting began on the set of "The Dark Knight Rises." Anne Hathaway's "Catwoman" stunt double recently had a collision with an IMAX camera. Now the Batwing has taken a nasty tumble during shooting. This is why you can't have nice things, Christopher Nolan! This is why you can't have nice things, Christopher Nolan! Man, our favorite director is playing a little rough with his "The Dark Knight Rises" toys.

'Breaking Bad' Season 4, Episode 5 Recap - 'Shotgun'
August 15, 2011 @ 7:00 am PST    Breaking Bad     Andy Neuenschwander
Of course, on the day that we get news that "Breaking Bad" will have just 16 more episodes after the end of this season, we get one of the best episodes yet. Of course, I've stated my case about seeing this show come to an end, but man will I hate to see it go.

'Curb Your Enthusiasm' Season 8, Episode 6 Recap - 'The Hero'
August 15, 2011 @ 6:41 am PST    Curb Your Enthusiasm, Extras     Andy Neuenschwander
Ricky Gervais makes a great guest appearance as himself (but really more like Andy Millman from "Extras"), which makes for an interesting dynamic: who's the bigger "prevaricator," Larry or Ricky? The feud between the two begins when they start insulting each others' shows, escalates when Ricky insults Larry's hard bread, gets worse when Larry insults Ricky's performance in his play, and comes to a boil when Larry tries to get Ricky to pay him back for a $300 bottle of wine and the $200 ticket to the play.

Arnold Schwarzenegger and the $100,000 T-Shirt
August 15, 2011 @ 5:00 am PST    The Terminator, Last Action Hero, Junior     Sean Comer
Oh sure. It always ends up like this. Middle-class Austrian kid makes meteoric and iconic rise through the professional bodybuilding ranks, takes Hollywood by storm, gets elected Governor of California despite The Hague declaring him 100-percent responsible for ""Junior" and "Last Action Hero," is exposed as cheatin', no-good, two-timin' such-and-such....and suddenly, everybody's a comedian.

'Breaking Bad' Deal Finalized: 16 Episodes Will End the Series
August 14, 2011 @ 7:11 pm PST    Breaking Bad     Andy Neuenschwander
We've raised our questions about the mismanagement over at AMC of their wildly successful series, and it looks like the very public negotiations have started to take their toll: "Breaking Bad" will end after just 16 more episodes, following the end of this season.

'The Dark Knight Rises' Bat-Plane Flies Through Pittsburgh! (Video)
August 14, 2011 @ 5:41 pm PST    The Dark Knight Rises     Andy Neuenschwander
We've seen the Batmobile invade Pittsburgh and we've seen photos of Anne Hathaway as Catwoman on an awesome motorcycle. What could beat that? How about a first look at Batman's newest toy, the Batwing? The aircraft for "The Dark Knight Rises" was caught on video as it "flew" through Pittsburgh this weekend. The Batplane or Batwing looks pretty badass, very heavy-duty and armored, much like the Batmobile.

Charlie Sheen Hosts The 2011 Gathering Of The Juggalos; No Poop Thrown
August 14, 2011 @ 5:35 pm PST    Two and a Half Men, Big Money Hustlas     Sean Comer
Here's a question that through the years, I would bet has been asked many times, many ways, under many varying circumstances: how on Earth did Charlie Sheen walk away from this unscathed?! Last night, the ex-"Two And A Half Men" star currently suing over his firing, counter-culture icon of the minute and just all-around swell looney tune hosted the 2011 Gathering of the Juggalos.

August 14, 2011 @ 5:33 pm PST    Rise of the Planet of the Apes, The Help, The Smurfs, Final Destination 5, 30 Minutes or Less, Glee: The 3D Concert Movie     Andy Neuenschwander
It was an exceptionally crowded weekend at the box office. Not only were there four new major releases on the weekend, but two holdovers from last weekend made the top five as well. Did any of these new releases beat the almighty apes that ruled the box office last weekend? Read on to find out!

Fall 2011 TV Preview: NBC Premiere Schedule and Trailers
August 14, 2011 @ 12:00 pm PST    The Playboy Club, The Simpsons , Mad Men, Pan Am, Up All Night, Free Agents, Grimm, Whitney, Prime Suspect, 30 Rock, Community, The Office, Parks & Recreation , Parenthood, The Sing Off, The Biggest Loser , Harry's Law, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Chuck     Andy Neuenschwander
If there's one thing NBC has that the other networks don't have, it's consistent quality, especially in the realm of comedy. Returning favorites like "Parks & Recreation," "30 Rock" and "Community" might not have tons of viewers, but the laughs they provide make for a loyal fan base. Add to that some promising new dramas (not to mention "The Voice") and NBC just might have what it takes to climb back on top of the network television dogpile.

August 14, 2011 @ 12:00 pm PST    True Blood     Andy Neuenschwander
Last week's episode, "The Cold, Grey Light of Dawn," left us with a stressful series of events and, ultimately, a mostly foiled plot from Antonia/Marnie. The previews for this week show that Antonia isn't done yet. Watch three preview clips from the next episode of "True Blood" here.
