With a long tradition of bringing the talents of stand-up comedians to the sitcom world ("Seinfeld" and, more recently, "Whitney" are a couple of example), it was only a matter of time before NBC decided to pursue one of the most popular comedians out there: Dane Cook.

Paramount has announced a "Tweet To See It First" contest hosted at Paranormalmovie.com in which the top 20 cities with the most tweets demanding "Paranormal Activity 3" will get a special three-days-early screening Oct. 18. The contest officially opened yesterday morning, and voting closes Oct. 13th.

Warner Bros. Wants Spielberg to Direct Epic Story Of Moses

According to recent reports, Warner Brothers has its eye on "Schindler's List" Academy Award-winner Steven Spielberg to direct a film called "Gods And Kings" about the life of Moses. The script will reportedly be rooted largely within the Book of Exodus and other Old Testament stories.

"True Blood" star Kristin Bauer has a foot in both worlds, though! Bauer is set to guest star on ABC's new fairy tale TV series "Once Upon a Time," in which she'll be playing an evil sorceress.
