Last night we saw "Glee" return and the "New Girl" premiere, but if that's not enough singing and laughing for you, tonight's lineup should cover you. Not only will we see the return of the best comedy series on TV for the last two years, "Modern Family," but we'll also see a new "American Idol" offshoot.

"The Blair Witch Project" came out in 1999, making $248.6 million on a $500,000-750,000 budget, and was followed up with a dull, more traditionally shot, meta-movie sequel called "Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2" that was panned across the board in 2000. The movie's creators may have another sequel in them.

One would think that for a writer so well-versed and practiced as Aaron Sorkin, simply putting pen to paper without inflicting physical injury upon one's self would be a reasonably simple proposition. Apparently not so much. Sorkin showed up at the Emmys with a curiously banged-up nose. "I wish I could say I was in a bar fight, but I broke my nose while writing," Sorkin self-deprecatingly told the Los Angeles Times.

Last night's premiere of "Two and a Half Men," which was the first without Charlie Sheen and with Ashton Kutcher in his place, drew 27.7 million viewers total, with a 10.3 rating in the demo. For comparison, last year's premiere saw 14.6 million and a 4.9, meaning that this premiere almost doubled those numbers.
