For any act that came up loving Pink Floyd, it truly might be like going to the Great Gig in the Sky. I'll never forget that moment. I was 15, and making my way into the Riverport Ampitheater in St. Louis for Lollapalooza 2. As we walked to our seats towards the beginning of the Pearl Jam set, we were suddenly caught up in a crushing wave of people that had surged forward. You can catch the journey into a world of shadows and substance-abuse here.

At some point in time during last night's two-hour mega-premiere of Simon Cowell's much-ballyhooed new $5 million dollar talent competition "The X Factor," scruffy long-haired musician Geo Godly sauntered on-stage and gave judges and the audience a revealing performance they won't likely forget. Was it all scripted?
