A Burger King ad featuring Mary J. Blige has caused racial furor, but the chain claims that's not why the spot was quickly pulled. Rather, the fast-food purveyors say they yanked the spot after a week because arose over music-licensing issues with the Grammy-nominated "No More Drama" singer's ad.

A "Mad Men" jab at a presidential hopeful's kin passed over the heads of neither the "left" nor the "right." Leading Republican candidate and former Massachussetts Gov. Mitt Romney's son Tagg reacted with mild incredulity that Matthew Weiner's Emmy-honored AMC drama would dare swipe at his grandfather, former Michigan Gov. George Romney, MLive reported Wednesday.

Well, this is awkward. Yes, obvious joke is obvious, but a word of advice: never play "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon" with Kyra Sedgwick. She's got an ace up her sleeve nobody could've expected, E! Online and Zap2It report. Aside from the knee-jerk "I'm married to him" card, she's also his distant cousin.

"Avatar" producer Jon Landau claims the blockbuster's sequel seems headed for inevitable delay, Empire reports. That could also push a third movie back to 2016 or 2017. In the meantime, the Oscar-winner's producer claims pre-production is already underway.

It's often the case that TV shows seamlessly weave performers' mid-filming pregnancies some way or another into show canon. In other instances, such as Sarah Jessica Parker's delicate condition during the fifth "Sex And The City" season, they're merely written around and the new mom's absence explained away. "Mad Men", on the other hand? January Jones fell somewhere in between and into a somewhat unique predicament.
