"Big Love" alum Chlove Sevigny is reported nearly signed to play Lange's arch rival next season. Her character's name? Allegedly, Shelly the Nymphomaniac. This should be fun....

As with many an Olympic gymnast, ABC Family's "Make It Or Break It" is ending its career at a young age. The upcoming third season will be the show tracking Olympics gymnastics hopefuls' roads to the games will end the series, the network announced today. In the meantime, ABC Family is developing several new "unscripted" series that could take its place.

"The Avengers" is already setting Marvel Studios precedents, with pre-sales out-grossing the combined early sales for four of its first five movies. If the international numbers suggest anything, it's all just getting started. Reports have the big team-up dominating theaters on three continents already.

Not that there wasn't enough to get excited about this summer, but it's easy to forget that in mere months, "The Expendables" return. Following up on Sylvester Stallone's 2010 love letter to great action movies, this one has somehow an even MORE massive cast with somehow even more ridiculous names. The latest marketing campaigning building heat for "The Amazing Spider-Man" has yielded a glimpse at an important part of the web-slinger's mythos. Some fans pitched a fit about Tobey Maguire's Peter Parker being able to organically produce webbing directly from his wrists. With the shift to inspiration from Marvel's "Ultimate" universe, this latest go-round shows that Andrew Garfield's Parker is making with his hands what a souped-up spider didn't give him.
