Chalk up another celebrity holiday engagement for the season. Doesn’t it seem like there have been many more engagements than average during the last month?

Hollywood is going to have a rash of weddings in the near future I suppose. Stay tuned for swarms of paparazzi hounding churches. Then of course we’ll have baby bump watches on everyone! The latest celebrity to fall to the ball and chain is Reese Witherspoon.

  American Idol - January 19th The hit show American Idol is back with a brand new cast in 2011.  Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler have been brought on to replace Simon Cowell and Kara Dioguardi.  Will the show still be a hit without Simon around? V - January 3rd After a lackluster season 1 for ABC’s ‘V’, producers have promised that season 2 will include more action and drama goodness.

Lindsay Lohan might have a movie coming out soon. Except that she doesn’t star in it!

There is a biopic in the works – actually, it’s not a biopi, but “based” on Lindsay Lohan’s life. The lead role was just cast, and it is Lydia Hearst Shaw, who is a close look-a-like to Lindsay in her red hair days.

The movie is even titled already as "Dogs in Pocketbooks.

Miley, Miley, Miley! Miley Cyrus can�t seem to understand that she needs to confiscate all cameras from her so-called friends when they decide to go out and party. The first reason being Miley is only 18. She isn�t supposed to drink or even be at clubs. Second, she shows how out of control her behavior is for only an 18 year old. Lastly, her so-called friends seem to like cashing in on Miley�s scandals! Raise your hand if you see Miley on the same road as Lindsay Lohan.

Kelsey Grammer’s got 50 million reasons why he should stay married. Except that none of them matter to him anymore it seems! Kelsey has split from his wife Camille and it seems they never signed a pre-nup!

You know what that means in California – everything earned during the marriage is split 50/50.

Even though Kelsey didn’t have much when they married, Camille knew how and where to invest the money he did have.

David Schwimmer, former star of hit comedy friends, movie actor, and producer, has recently lost a battle to get his most recent directing effort re-classified by the Motion Picture Association of America.

The movie, Trust, was given a rating of R because of its content, and Schwimmer had been hoping to get the classification softened. The movie stars English actor Clive Owen and Catherine Keener.

LeAnn Rimes got engaged over Christmas to CSI ex-star, Eddie Cibrian. Well, since they each broke up their marriages for each other, I suppose it’s a good thing, right? LeAnn and Eddie have been famously feuding with his ex or soon to be ex, Brandi Glanville over the kids and their happiness. Because, it always shows you’re the better parent when you go to the press with a hot story, right?

LeAnn announced the engagement via her rep.

Simon Baker managed to sign a huge deal with CBS over the break.

His deal includes a $30 million dollar payday for the next few seasons and Executive Producer credits for Season 5. That’s like two years away?

I guess the studio execs are assuming the ratings will stay up and aren’t planning to can the show any time soon.

Simon stars on the show, The Mentalist and apparently, it is doing very well over at CBS.

Academy Award winner Rachel Weisz and James Bond actor Daniel Craig were photographed holding hands and enjoying each other’s company during a romantic Christmas holiday at Somerset.

Sources said that Craig and Weisz  were seen in a local pub on Christmas eve. The customers in the pub describe the pair as a romantic couple just like what you see in the movies.

“They were laughing and hanging on to each other’s words and stopping to take photos of each other,” said a pub costumer.

Natalie Portman is set to have a huge year in 2011! Literally – in many more ways than one.

Natalie just announced she is pregnant with her first child with her boyfriend and choreographer, Benjamin Millepied. Congratulations!

Natalie is set to have a big year in acting, due to her role in Black Swan, where she met Benjamin. So far, she is up for Best Actress for the Gold Globe Awards and the Screen Actors Guild Awards.
