Director Alejandro Gonzales Inarritu expressed his confidence on Javier Bardem’s acting ability and he believed that the actor has a chance to receive an Oscar nomination for the movie Biutiful currently playing in theaters.
The Spanish language film earned Javier Bardem the Best Actor Award in the Cannes Film Festival. However, the movie did not receive any nomination from the Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award.
Publishing heiress turned actress Lydia Hearst distance herself from the Dogs in the Pocketbooks project despite an announcement from the screenwriter of the movie that she is best qualified to portray the lead role.
In her twitter page, Hearst did not include Dogs in the Pocketbooks as one of her upcoming acting projects,"As for any theatrical roles I am currently filming Two Jacks directed by Bernard Rose.
Brett Favre got an expensive addition to his phone bill today. For his lack of cooperation in the NFL’s investigation of him sexting New York Jets TV personality Jenn Sterger, he was fined $50K. Ouch. $50 grand because he would not give away details to incriminate himself. He must have a lot to hide if he is willing to pay the fine to stay out of trouble!

Snooki, aka Nicole Polizzi, will not be the focus of New Year’s in Times Square this year. MTV had convinced Snooki to be a human hamster in a ball that dropped in Times Square. They were trying to steal the thunder from the regular ball drop it seems.
But then the officials at abc and Dick Clark productions found out and put the kibosh on MTV’s plans. They do not have the proper permission for such a stunt and will not be allowed in Times Square if they try and proceed.

Warner Bros. confirmed a report that a stuntman was seriously injured in Bangkok, Thailand during a shooting for the movie "The Hangover: Part II."
The entertainment company told Hollywood Reporter that the victim was Australian stuntman Scott Mclean. He suffered a car accident last December 19 and is currently on an induced coma through sedation. They sedated Mclean to help him recuperate from the accident.
MTV is airing their controversial special on TV tonight. MTV has been criticized for their show 16 and Pregnant, but this show will top that for complaints I am guessing!
Tonights episode of 16 and Pregnant follows around a 19 year old that already has a one year old baby who is contemplating and then gets an abortion after finding out she was pregnant for the second time.
