This week saw the sad demise of Blake Edwards, the director responsible for the Pink Panther and Breakfast at Tiffany's, amongst other things. Edwards died after experiencing complications with pneumonia, and he passed away at St John's Health Centre in Santa Monica, having been in hospital for around two weeks.
Blake's wife is actress Julie Andrews, star of movies such as the Sound of Music and Mary Poppins, and following his death she spoke about how much she would miss her soul mate.
In season 2 episode 7 of Modern Family, Manny and his mother Gloria go to Jay’s workplace to pick him up and visit a restaurant for a family lunch. An employee at Jay’s workplace lets Manny to drive a forklift and sadly Manny bumps it into the wall. An angry Jay due to this incident fires the man much Manny’s dismay and anger.
In the meantime, Jay tries hard to remember what the cause behind Gloria’s celebration is as she celebrates nearly every possible anniversary.

Jennifer Carpenter recently filed her divorce petition, and supposedly she's been separated from Dexter Morgan Michael C. Hall for a long period of time now.
The dexter stars are reportedly ending their marriage on 'good terms' and plan to remain good friends after their divorce.
Shelley Malil – who starred with Steve Carell in The 40-Year-Old Virgin – convicted of attempted murder in September for the gruesome stabbing of his girlfriend in San Diego.
Malil stabbed ex-girlfriend Kendra Beebe more than 20 times. This marks the end to a terrible event that left Beebe with life long scars to remind her of the event.
On Thursday Malil, 45, was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility for parole, reports NBC San Diego.
