Movies have a strange way of coming in pairs, like when "Armageddon" and "Deep Impact" hit the scene in succession, or when "Antz" and "A Bug's Life" both hit theaters around the same time.

It's happened again, this time with the Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis movie "Friends With Benefits" following the Ashton Kutcher and Natalie Portman film "No Strings Attached.

He's appeared several times on "30 Rock," "Conan," "Saturday Night Live," and "The Simpsons," and this summer can be seen in the Kristen Wiig comedy "Bridesmaids," which received glowing reviews after its premiere at South by Southwest.

Vanilla Ice is among the panel set to judge the TV series “Canada Sings.”

On the reality show, Vanilla Ice - a Canadian native, Jann Arden and Simple Plans’ Pierre Bouvier will judge 12 workplace glee clubs that will sing and dance through the competition.

"'Canada Sings' is not your average singing competition," Barb Williams, senior vice-president of content for Shaw Media, said in a statement.

Philip Seymour Hoffman is one of those actors who shows up in just about everything, from "The Big Lebowski" to "Doubt" to "The Invention of Lying." Now, Hoffman is holding the reins for a new HBO drama series, "Upstate."

Hoffman is developing the show with his production company Copper's Town Productions and Entertainment One. The show looks to be a prison drama of sorts, following a family man named Roy Perkins who begins work at a private, for-profit prison in rural America after being laid off from his job.

One of the newest set of “Housewives” is one step closer to becoming an actual wife. On Tuesday's "Real Housewives of Miami" show, Philipe Pautesta proposed to girlfriend Marysol Patton, presenting her with a massive ring from her mother’s collection.

Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx made a series of calculated moves to determine how far art and nudity can be pushed on Facebook, which has resulted in the deletion of several fans’ accounts.

Sixx’s account remains standing.

Radar has released new details about a bar fight that resulted in the temporary detention of her husband.

"All doggs do go to heaven," according to Snoop Dogg.

After years of struggling with health problems, the voice of G-Funk, Nate Dogg has passed away.

Nate Dogg, born Nathaniel Hale, was a pioneer in the hip-hop game hailing from Long Beach, California.

He was part of the original West Coast rap movement and involved with Death Row Records in the 1990's.
