March 19, 2011 @ 10:17 am PST    True Blood     Andy Neuenschwander

What did "True Blood" star Anna Paquin see in her co-star Stephen Moyer that convinced her to marry him? A big part of it was probably the fact that he plays a handsome, brooding vampire, but we're starting to see some more reasons: namely, it seems that he's a really good guy.

Moyer, who plays Bill on the hit HBO show, has signed on with the charity Facing the World and its subsidiary Facing the Atlantic.

Lady Gaga Korean Sound-a-like Sing Along: Did Gaga Rip Off 'Born This Way'?
March 19, 2011 @ 10:16 am PST    The Grammys     Elizabeth Sexton

At first Lady Gaga took slack for her newest single “Born This Way” sounding much like Madonna’s “Express Yourself.”

Most recently, Lady Gaga, who promotes strong individuality - including her own, was brought back into the critical eye for sounding similar to a South Korean girl group SNSD.

Fans of the band are claiming Gaga plagiarized certain sections from the 2010 song “Be Happy.

Anything is Paw-sible: Housewives' Pooch Scores Contract
March 19, 2011 @ 10:12 am PST    The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills     Elizabeth Sexton

Andy Cohen may be through with additional Housewives' spinoff series, as we reported earlier this week, but that won’t stop one Housewives castmate from seeking the spotlight.

As Us Mag reports, Giggy, Lisa Vanderpump’s dog, has signed with a talent agency – it’s assumable, Vanderpump helped with the paperwork.

Vanderpump reports that her sweet pooch, Giggy (sometimes spelled Jiggy), is being represented by the Creative Artists’ Agency.

March 19, 2011 @ 10:09 am PST    Twilight, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Eclipse     Elizabeth Sexton

It must be good to be a King.

Jared Followill, King’s of Leon hottie, is ever the ladies man.

From Miley Cyrus’ textual flirtations to an alleged “something-something” with Julianne Hough, and now his new rumored fling with the recently single Ashley Greene, Followill knows how to keep them smiling.

"Good food. Good friends. Great day," Greene tweeted after spending a day in the company of the 24-year old bassist.

Switching it Up: Transgender 'Thailand's Got Talent' Contestant Wows Judges
March 19, 2011 @ 10:07 am PST    American Idol, The Crying Game     Elizabeth Sexton

A singer in Thailand, being hailed as ‘The Next Susan Boyle,’ had more than a surprisingly good voice for judges on “Thailand’s Got Talent.”

As Now Public reports, Bell Nuntita showed judges the wow factor as she started singing with a sweet delicate voice that soon transformed into a masculine bass.

It’s a little like “American Idol” meets “The Crying Game,” the site reports; however, the audience and judges a like were blown away.

Christina Applegate to Star in Comedy Pilot for Lorne Michaels
March 19, 2011 @ 10:03 am PST    Samantha Who?, Saturday Night Live     Scott Nye

After too long playing second fiddle to less talented leads on the big screen, Christina Applegate ("Married with Children," "Samantha Who?") will return to television in a comedy pilot for producer Lorne Michaels ("30 Rock," "Saturday Night Live"), as revealed today in The Hollywood Reporter.

Applegate is best known in my generation for her role as Veronica Corningstone in the future classic "Anchroman: The Legend of Ron Burgandy," in which she tactfully walked the line of playing the straight (wo)man while still getting laugh

Relationship 'Hangover': Bradley Cooper and Renee Zellweger Split
March 19, 2011 @ 10:02 am PST    Limitless, The Hangover, The Hangover: Part II     Andy Neuenschwander

I guess their love wasn't "Limitless." Right? Am I right?

Sorry about that.

Nice-to-look-at Hollywood couple Bradley Cooper and Renée Zellweger have split after a two-year relationship. The two met while filming "Case 39" and became romantically involved (officially, at least) around the time of the movie's release in 2009. Cooper, 41, had been married briefly to actress Jennifer Esposito and Zellweger, 36, was previously married to country singer Kenny Chesney.

First Look at Adrianne Palicki in Wonder Woman Costume!
March 18, 2011 @ 2:28 pm PST    Wonder Woman     Scott Nye

I'll admit - when they first announced the new "Wonder Woman" TV series, I didn't think it would get off the ground. Superhero TV shows go into development constantly, and almost none of them ever make it out of that alive.

Couple that with the difficulty they've had making a big-screen version of the character, which has been at some stage of development pretty much forever, and it seemed like a recipe for disaster.

Keep Ya Head Up and Ya Eyes Open: Online Auditions for Tupac Movie Begin, You're Invited to Submit a Video
March 18, 2011 @ 2:17 pm PST    The Grammys     Elizabeth Sexton

Like Elvis and aliens, Tupac sightings are fairly common – and will likely only increase, given the announcement that Skee TV and Morgan Creek have partnered to accept video auditions for the role of Tupac Shakur in an upcoming biopic.

Production on the film is underway; however, producers from Morgan Creek are looking for someone to play the main role of the West Coast Rapper/MC.

Episode 'Community' Season 2, Episode 18 - 'Custody Law and Eastern European Diplomacy' Recap
March 18, 2011 @ 2:12 pm PST    Community, Dollhouse     Andy Neuenschwander
This week's episode of TV's best comedy (I'm going to keep saying it until their numbers improve) starts off with the world's most awkward baby shower, as Annie throws one for Shirley, her husband, and Chang.   We later find that Shirley wants Chang to sign a release of parental rights, but Chang has different ideas: maybe if he becomes a responsible adult, he'll get to be a father to the kid.
