What’s the first thing you’d do in the event of a zombie apocalypse? Jon Bernthal from “The Walking Dead” says he’d “call up my best friend’s wife and see what she’s up to.”
Bahdumpbump.
Bernthal (who plays dirty, under-handed wife-stealer Shane Walsh in the show) joined Laurie Holden (heart-broken zombie-fighter Andrea) at C2E2, a comics and entertainment convention held this weekend in Chicago, for a fantastic panel discussion about the wildly popular, Golden Globe-nominated AMC series.
The next generation of “Spice Girls” is in effect.
Melanie “Mel B” Brown announced she is expecting her third child with Stephen Belafonte, Hello! Magazine reports.
Brown joins fellow spice alums Victoria Beckham and Emma Bunton, who are also expecting.
While Bunton (Baby Spice) is due to have a boy, Beckham (Posh Spice) is expecting her first girl.
It was a weekend of handsome leading men at the box office: both Matthew McConaughey and Bradley Cooper opened major competing films, but only one could claim the top spot.
Ultimately, it was Cooper who won the weekend as his "what-if" action thriller "Limitless" opened with a respectable $19 million. The movie follows Cooper as a writer who takes a pill that allows him to access and use all of his brain, making him super-intelligent and giving him success and wealth (is anyone surprised that a writer is the main character in this script?).
Admission - I actually really like the "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies. Yep, all three.
They're one of the few blockbuster franchises of the past decade willing to embrace their own silliness, and the result is pretty breakneck entertainment. They're big and dumb and goofy and thrilling and everything that summer movies abandoned when it was decided they had to retell "the hero's journey" nine hundred times each year.
Every year, the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation hosts a series of award shows to honor those in the media who have made efforts to portray homosexual characters in a positive light.
Among the winners this year were two phenomenal TV shows (and favorites here on Yidio), "True Blood" and "30 Rock."
"True Blood" earned the "Outstanding Drama Series" award for its positive portrayals of gay and lesbian characters like Nelson Ellis' Lafayette and Evan Rachel Woods' Sophie-Anne Leclerq.
It looks like David Arquette and Courtney Cox have some taken time to stop and smell the roses.
The separated couple was spotted on Saturday shopping at Malibu flower mart, reports Radar Online.
Following their separation in October, Arquette took a party-boy spin, which ultimately led to his self-check in at Betty Ford.
"I don't know what will happen, but this is not like we're getting divorced.
Sometimes rumors are just wild speculation, and sometimes they're completely true. For example: the rumor that "Inception" star Joseph Gordon-Levitt would be starring in "The Dark Knight Rises" had been accepted as fact even though it was not confirmed officially until yesterday. We all knew it was going to happen. Which character in the Batman universe JGL will be playing is still a mystery, though.
Yesterday we were treated to the first image of "Wonder Woman" star Adrianne Palicki in her costume. Opinions differed widely on internet forums as to whether the new costume is any good.
Personally, I like the addition of the pants and the removal of the stars, it makes the costume a bit more practical. However, the fact that the costume is shiny pleather head to toe and that the boots have been turned blue bother me.
