Kung Fu Candy? 'Kung Fu Panda' Writers To Take On 'Candyland' Script

When Universal and Hasbro made a deal back in 2008 for a string of movie adaptations, the world had just one question: how the heck do you make Candyland into a full-length feature film?

We'll find out soon, as writers Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger are set to write the screenplay themselves. The team brought us the script for "Kung Fu Panda" and is penning the sequel, "Kung Fu Panda 2: The Kaboom of Doom," as well.

'Jersey Shore' Controversy Already Starting in Italy

The cast of "Jersey Shore" has an indirect love of their Italian roots: the girls are always looking for a guy whose name ends in a vowel, and the guys frequently proclaim "I'm proud to be a guido!"

In anticipation of the filming of season four of "Jersey Shore" (which will take place in Italy), Italian television has begun to air re-runs of previous seasons.

When the ground begins to thaw every spring, the networks turn their thoughts to midseason replacements, filling space left behind by season finales of big shows and holes left by shortened series' with a new crop of young, promising small screen newbies.

While admittedly a lot of the Spring material isn't the networks' best and brightest, this is the season when gems like "The Simpsons," "All in the Family," and "The Jeffersons" have been born.

Following a hot DJ spot during Britney Spears’ surprise concert Las Vegas Friday, Pauly D is on track for living out the GQ-gentleman’s dream.

His upcoming spin-off reality show will highlight the rise of his DJ career with “Entourage” like fashion, he says.

“It’s about my DJ career. I got my boys with me on the road. It’s kind of like ‘Entourage,’" said the "Jersey Shore" star.

Who needs maternity clothes when you have finger paint?

Mariah Carey, known for her curvy bod and juicy vocals, is giving Demi Moore’s famous Vanity Fair-pregnancy cover a run for it’s clothing.

Carey, who is using Twitter to share baby news with fans and husband Nick Cannon, recently shared a festive picture of her baby bump and explained that the twins will be coming soon.

Last week a fan shared an early birthday surprise with Lady Gaga, who turns 25 today.

Christopher Roa spent a week creating a studded red vest for Gaga out of a vintage leather jacket. His handiwork included hand-painted designs from Gaga’s “Born This Way" video. At the concert he threw the piece on stage, to which the singer responded: "What is this?"

As the video shows, she then picks it up and rocks it throughout the show.

Could you imagine judging 18,000 �X Factor� hopefuls in one day? It appeared that Simon Cowell, and fellow judges of �The X Factor� had their hands full when an estimated 18,000-plus spotlight seekers came out to audition at the L.A. Memorial Sports Arena Sunday. As the Daily Mail reports, the surrounding freeways were jammed. Contestants even camped out the night before, facing rainy weather in attempts to get a good spot.

A poster reveal for "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn" from Cinema Con has just hit the web.

Steve at Collider.com gives us a peak of the poster that may ruffle some fan’s feathers: it’s missing Stewart’s or Pattinson’s face.

The picture (below) shows an elegant hand sprinkled with white feathers – an image that represents the moment after Bella and Edward get married and, while honeymooning, Edward bites a pillow open.

Eva Longoria is lending her voice to children working in harsh condition throughout the world.

As an executive producer for the film “Harvest,” Longoria helps share the story of three migrant boys who farm in U.S. fields along the border with Mexico.

The undocumented children work 14-hour days and represent the day-to-day difficulties faced by child laborers.
