"Dollhouse" and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" star Eliza Dushku is known for her butt-kicking lead roles in sci-fi action shows, but the latest casting news has her going in another direction: comedy.
"It is with insanest excitement & awesomeness I get to finally fill you guys in: I've just landed a new CBS comedy pilot w/ my comic idol Mr. Damon Wayans!" Dushku announced on her Facebook page today.
Lindsay Lohan has declined a plea deal that included jail time and three years of probation.
Los Angeles prosecutors confirmed to PEOPLE Wednesday that Lohan will go to trial in the felony grand theft case.
Lohan, if found guilty, could serve a maximum of three years in prison. She could face additional jail time if the charges are deemed a violation of her probation from a DUI incident.
A while back, we reported that "Jersey Shore" star Pauly D had landed his dream job in becoming the resident DJ at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. Pauly D in Vegas? Just think of all the fist-pumping that could happen with that combo...
Now, rumors have turned into confirmations that DJ Pauly D will be spinning at an upcoming Britney Spears concert in Vegas. And when I say "upcoming" I mean "imminent": the show is this Friday, March 25th!
Pauly has been hinting for a while about a "game changer" on Twitter but didn't
Blake Lively has had one heck of a year. The "Gossip Girl" star finally got some attention thanks to her work on the popular CW show and landed roles in not one, but two big-budget films. After an appearance in the Oscar-nominated "The Town," Lively will appear next in the much-buzzed-about superhero flick "Green Lantern" opposite Ryan Reynolds.
It is this list of accomplishments that made CinemaCon decide to honor Lively with the "Breakthrough Performer of the Year Award" at this year's convention, taking place on March 31st.
This season of "Glee" saw the introduction of Darren Criss and the Dalton Academy Warblers, and now it almost seems like they're the stars of the show. Step one in Criss and Co.'s takeover of the Glee-verse is the official Warblers album, due April 19th. Just today, the cover art (pictured at left) and the official tracklist hit the internet!
A quick note: since the soundtrack album is yet to be released, some of the song choices might be a bit on the spoiler-y side.
Before he left MSNBC, commentator Keith Olbermann had a segment called "Worst Person in the World," where he took politicans and average citizens to task for doing what he felt were genuinely horrible things.
While we're no political pundits, we'd like to borrow Olbermann's editorial gimmick, and hand a "Worst People in the World" to organizers from the Westboro Baptist Church, who promised today to protest at Elizabeth Taylor's funeral, and tweeted a series of truly vile messages about Taylor.
Chris Brown will get another chance to feature his album on ABC – this time, without all the Rihanna questions.
Despite his meltdown on “Good Morning America” after Robin Roberts asked him one-too many questions about the restraining order against him and the violent incident that sparked the restraint, Brown will still perform on “Dancing With the Stars” next Tuesday night.
It's been on the air for almost 20 years, it changed the way TV was made, and now it looks like it will do so for at least another year. MTV's "The Real World has been renewed for two more seasons, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Even though the currently airing season is the 25th, this renewal actually means that the show will run through at least season 28, as the 26th season has already been picked up and is currently in casting.
Ever since Rebecca Black's pop song (and I'm using the term "song" loosely here) "Friday" became a viral hit on YouTube, the signer has been very often ridiculed.
But like her or not, Black made a case last night on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" that her sudden fame isn't such a bad thing: she announced that some of the proceeds from her music video will go towards helping victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
