'Glee' Creator Drops 'Annie' Reboot

Ryan Murphy has orphaned Will Smith’s reboot of “Annie.”

Murphy, the expected director, has left the film that will star Willow Smith as the title character.

According to Deadline, “talks broke off” with Murphy. Willow’s parents, Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith will produce the film, while Jay-Z will oversee the musical side.

To walk a mile in someone’s shoes is an expression that relates to learning what another person experiences. For one week an undercover millionaire does just that on ABC's “Secret Millionaire.”

Last week’s millionaire, John Ferber lived in Los Angeles’s Skid Row for a week. Ferber, an Internet advertiser, spent time with a man Amin, an everyday Samaritan who uses his time to give to others around him.

NBC has released a 15-second clip of the highly anticipated April 14th episode of "The Office." The series will reunite "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy" costars Carell and Will Ferrell.

Ferrell will make his way to the Scranton branch of Dunder Mifflin although we still don't know in what facet.

While the Australians may be up in arms over the appearance of John Travolta in a relatively tame Qantas Airlines safety video, Air New Zealand has one-upped their neighbors with a spangly, short-shorted new instructional vid from fitness guru Richard Simmons.

The new safety video featuring Simmons is aimed at making sure Air NZ passengers are "sitting up and taking notice," Air New Zealand General Manager of Marketing and Communications Mike Tod told a New Zealand paper.

The world will see on May 25, which the Associated Press has confirmed is the final episode of “The Oprah Winfrey Show.”

While the final guest and concept remains secret, Oprah has tweeted that she is busy planning the final shows.

Knowing Oprah, the last one should be a whopper.

Currently the show has been airing reruns for the past few weeks.

Zack Snyder's fantasy action epic "Sucker Punch" was almost guaranteed to take the top spot this weekend at the box office, but it never expected to be knocked out by a wimpy kid.

The top earner this weekend was family film "Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules" as it opened to a cool $24.4 million, outdoing the original "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" which opened to $22 million last year.

For those who aren't up to date on the projects: Relativity Media is planning a faithful Brothers Grimm adaptation of "Snow White" that has Julia Roberts attached to play the evil queen.
