There has been a general sense of unease from die-hard "Green Lantern" fans about the upcoming movie adaptation. Understandably so: Green Lantern (Hal Jordan) is a beloved character of DC Comics, and lately all DC has been able to do right is Batman.
Brand-new footage from WonderCon might help put some fans at ease, though. The comics, sci-fi and film convention, held in San Francisco, premiered a full four minutes of abridged footage from "Green Lantern" as part of their media presentation.
The cast may be filling out, but there are still many questions surrounding the new "Superman" movie. Who will be the villain? Will Henry Cavill make a good Superman? Is Amy Adams too sweet to play Lois Lane? After the disastrous "Sucker Punch," can Zach Snyder put together a good story?
MTV asked Henry Cavill some questions at WonderCon, but sadly none of those ones were answered (or perhaps even asked.
Professional wrestlers make a living out of pretending that they're mad at their opponents. But when it comes to Snooki from "Jersey Shore," they don't have to do a lot of acting.
Just a couple of days after Snooki got Rutgers University in trouble for offering her $32,000 to speak at commencement (more than they offered Nobel laureate Toni Morrison), Snooki is now causing trouble in the WWE.
Celebrities have a love/hate relationship with Twitter. It's a great way for them to interact directly with their fans, but it's also a way for haters to interact directly with them. Just yesterday, "How I Met Your Mother" star Neil Patrick Harris tweeted that he was leaving Twitter because of hateful, negative comments...then later tweeted that it was just an April Fool's joke.
You’ve Got Tyra Mail
The young Tyra-nistas of America’s Next Top Model got a lesson in fame, which importantly focused on how to deal with all those pesky-demanding fans the winner is guaranteed to walk home with.
In this episode, the all-knowing mail from Tyra told the girls they “would have a real following.” The word “real” should be taken lightly, as it’s clear the aspiring supermodels don’t actually have fans – yet.
In the 7 months following the filming of “Jersey Shore” Season 3, a lot has happened for the Seaside reality family.
The Reunion Episode gave housemates a chance to catch up, starting with Mike “The Situation.”
According to Mike, who was immediately accused of not being able to unhook a bra, it was the best summer in Seaside. Side note: throughout the season, rumors have circulated that Mike is gay, which he denies.
If Tamra Barney wants to be the star of "Real Housewives Orange County," Gretchen Rossi is fine with taking a backseat.
“That means she's a train wreck, so I'm totally OK with that,” Rossi told Naughty But Nice.
Rossi says that Real Housewives co-star has a big pair of “camera balls,” which, according to Rossi, means that Barney plays to drama for ratings.
Earlier this week, Stephen Colbert made a promise: he would sing Rebecca Black's "Friday" with The Roots if Jimmy Fallon would join him in raising $26,000 for DonorsChoose.org. Fallon issued the challenge to his fans: if they helped to raise the money, he would sing the song (to use the word "song" loosely) with Stephen.
Well, it's pretty clear how much Fallon and Colbert fans wanted to see this happen: the $26,000 was raised, and Colbert returned to "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" to perform the YouTube hit.
It’s hard to imagine planning a wedding and taking the time to invite the former lovers of your soon to be husband (or wife).
For most people, it’s an intimate day you’d want to share with your friends and family.
Kendra Wilkinson doesn’t quite understand why some of Hugh Hefner’s former girlfriends, including herself, have not received wedding invitations for Hefner’s nuptials with Crystal Harris.
Some sequels just take the story from the first movie, move it to a new location, and expect us to be impressed. "The Hangover: Part II" is one of those sequels, but we might just end up actually being impressed.
The first trailer for the sequel was revealed by Warner Bros. at CinemaCon on Thursday, and it looks like more hilarity and mayhem. Once again, the guys have a wild night for a bachelor party (this time Ed Helms' character Stu is the one getting married) but this time they're in Thailand.
